amazing food.lovethis place. i've been 3 times now and each time the food has been outstanding! little cramped on the inside but who cares the food is some of the best i have tasted. great selections of coffee too. now that it is nicer i will check out the patio.

so fresh and delicious. the inside is cute and cozy and the outdoor patio in the heart of cathedral has an excellent vibe.lovetheir use of local ingredients. i also drop by for take-out often. my go-to's are the granola bars, mediterranean bowl and the blue burger. amazing!

loves. ilovelovelovethis place. always friendly service and the food is amazing. ilovethe curried egg salad or the chilli. they probably have one of the best london fogs i've ever had. a bit cramped inside but always refreshing to sit outside in the always wonderful cathedral area!!

used toloveit. this place used to be the bomb, now the soup tastes like water, it's super expensive, the people working there seem to not know what they're doing at all, and i'm pretty sure the portions are smaller.

disappointed. i always try to support local small businesses. i have been a loyal customer over many many years but i think that my most recent experience will be my last.

we called in an order for pick up. once we go there, we were charged for another pick up order and apparently they didn't even have our order. ok, things happen. but the customer service was terrible. the counter staff was just rude and kept snapping at us while we were trying to explain what happened. one of the worst dining experiences i've ever had and, sadly, not the first time.

i do have to say this - the food, once the right order was received, was delicious. that being said, they say they offer gluten free food but they clearly do not know or care to follow safe food practices for those with allergies. we had to repeat that my order was gf at least 5 times and the counter staff almost picked up a gf item with used thongs. it's totally ok not to offer gf items on a menu but if you do, could you at least be careful? some people have severe food allergies. would you do that for someone with a nut allergy?

i had my first date there in 1993; i had a market spice tea and for years i would go back to pick up a bag of that tea. i am sure it was not new at that time. so, yea, people - this place is not that new.
as a vegetarian since i was 12 (1989), i can say regina has often been lacking in vegetarian restaurants. (i still hurt over the loss of heliotrope to this day!!)
i do not remember when 13th avenue started serving vegetarian food (i can say they did not in 1993)... and i do not even know how many times this place has changed hands, so it is always fresh and different depending on who just took over the reins.
the bowls are a direct rip-off from fresh (restaurant in toronto), bit is it all good - ilovethem!!! :) i am soooo happy we can get them in regina!!
i will say that i have experienced the negative customer service that many people have posted about here. i have seen some of the most atrocious customer service in this restaurant over the years. i also had some bad experiences with the food not being as tasty as other times.
it has been awhile, though, so perhaps new owners have taken over again and the staff are more friendly.
however, i just called in a big order for delivery and the bank machine was not working and i had to reduce my order to match the $20 in my wallet. disappointing.
provided the current owners can commit to employing good staff with kind hearts who provide good customer service.... (and make sure their bank machine works!) ... and the food quality stays high ... this place will, for me, always be a regina staple and near and dear to my heart.

i used tolovethis place. the menu is great for vegetarians but over the last year the food has gone way down hill. inconsistent to say the least. improperly prepared sometimes (i had a soup that appeared to be canned lentils in tepid water). i keep trying hoping it was an off day but the last five times have been awful.

i heart local. easily in my top 5 places for healthy, veg-friendly food in regina and with their new 13th ave blend of espresso beans, i can't help but order a delicious americano every time i'm there! ilovetheir commitment to using fresh, local ingredients and the cute, character house they run their business out of guarantees cozy, friendly vibes. try the power salad with cilantro-lime dressing and a vegan power bar for desert! they also carry a variety of beer (paddock wood is from saskatoon) to enjoy on the patio on a hot summer day or whenever you feel the need!

love, love,love13th ave. with my job, i have to travel a lot and i make a point to stop at 13th ave every time i'm in regina. i've had all the bowls and could not choose one to be better than the other. i recommend them all! one thing is i wish i could buy there coffee in bulk where i live. it is amazing coffee!

long time fan of all of their "bowls" (my fav is the 'sushi-bowl'). my vegetarian friends convinced me to try the veggie burgers which are the only veggie burgers i consider worth ordering anywhere. finally, thing that motivated me to review - the new owners have done some great work including adding "breakfast bowls" and openning early hours for breakfast; ilovethe power bowl with quinua. the bee pollen is a subtle touch that makes it a perfect balance. if looking for a natural, healthy option with freindly staff i highly recommend it.

perfect. the 13th ave coffee house remains the very best place for lunch in regina. the rice bowls are so good and the veggie burgers can't be beat. iloveto grab a coffee and hang out inside during the winter months, and sitting outside on the patio with a glass of wine or beer in the summer is just as lovely.
i really can't recommend this place more! my only wish is that it was bigger - more seating would be great!

small and quaint.lovethis place. really. it changed my perceptions on how vegetarian dishes could taste, which is... delicious! ilovethe coffee shop atmosphere and customer service. the outdoor eating area is a nice touch, although i find the large "mannequin" that greets you at the front door slightly frightening. my favorite two dishes here are the harvest bowl and golden tempeh bowl!
