amazing food. love this place. i've been 3 times now and each time thefoodhas been outstanding! little cramped on the inside but who cares thefoodis some of the best i have tasted. great selections of coffee too. now that it is nicer i will check out the patio.

awesome as always. i met my wife at 13th avefood& coffee house today for lunch and as always thefoodand service far exceeded our expectations. we sat outside on the newly renovated patio and enjoyed our lunch. the experience started inside while we were served by the manager, she was super helpful with our requests and thefoodcame our super fast and right to order. long known for the city's best vegan ceaser salad i'd vote for the fiesta bowl that i had today as rice bowl ever. we will defiantly go back again and again, keep up the great work guys. thanks

loves. i love love love this place. always friendly service and thefoodis amazing. i love the curried egg salad or the chilli. they probably have one of the best london fogs i've ever had. a bit cramped inside but always refreshing to sit outside in the always wonderful cathedral area!!

came here a few months ago for an iced-tea, it was alright, but i wouldn't pay $4.50 for it again. i also tried the hummus and pita chips, they were actually really good. might stop in forfoodagain, but not drinks.

awesome place! have great selection offoodand have the best vegan/vegetarian burgers! great customer service and just an awesome place! check it out for sure!

margarine - really???. you stop at a place like 13th avefood& coffee house for quality. i don't mind paying over $3.00 for one muffin but when they ask you if you want butter and you get to where going and take the muffin and "butter" out of the bag and find that they cheaped out by giving you margarine, that is pretty poor for a place that bills itself as "healthy". yeah, serve the next best thing to plastic and ruin an otherwise very good morning glory muffin.

opinion has changed - will try them again!. pleasantly surprised when i received a phone call last night from the new owners of the 13th avenuefoodand coffee house. he listened carefully to what i had to say, and said they could and would do better. this is a class act on his part. i am totally impressed and will certainly go back to ordering from them. he said that he would try to help us veganize any dish we ordered, encouraging us to order during non rush hour periods so their staff have the chance to give us the special attention we require. they just assumed ownership this week, and so it is easy to understand that they find themselves in a state of flux. but he seems well in control of his new venture.

going downhill fast'. i have tried to place phone orders on two occasions in the past month.

ended up both times cancelling my orders. the tone and arrogance of the staff is nauseating.

i wanted to make a simple change to my ceasar salad as we are vegans and try where possible to avoid grains that are most likely gmos.

" no way hosay! we are not interested in making changes at all....."

so, there goes our business.... 10-15 orders a year times $35 = $500.00 a year approx plus our poor referrals to our friends and family.

by the way, it was not like that 6 months ago. quite the opposite.

disappointed. i always try to support local small businesses. i have been a loyal customer over many many years but i think that my most recent experience will be my last.

we called in an order for pick up. once we go there, we were charged for another pick up order and apparently they didn't even have our order. ok, things happen. but the customer service was terrible. the counter staff was just rude and kept snapping at us while we were trying to explain what happened. one of the worst dining experiences i've ever had and, sadly, not the first time.

i do have to say this - the food, once the right order was received, was delicious. that being said, they say they offer gluten freefoodbut they clearly do not know or care to follow safefoodpractices for those with allergies. we had to repeat that my order was gf at least 5 times and the counter staff almost picked up a gf item with used thongs. it's totally ok not to offer gf items on a menu but if you do, could you at least be careful? some people have severefoodallergies. would you do that for someone with a nut allergy?

used to love this place.foodis still great. terrible customer service will keep me away. for this reason alone, i don't recommend going here.

love it here. i've been a fan for years....foodis fresh, service is quick, menu items are healthy. i highly recommend everything on the menu, but my favourites are the guacamole wrap (fresh and crunchy), the big burrito, any of the veggie burgers or rice bowls (green curry one is a fav), the veggie chilli is excellent, and depending on the soup of the day- most often it is delicious too. place can be small, but a great place for you and a plus one for some intimate "coffee talk".

i love all of these people saying "since it opened in 2000 or since it opened a few years ago"!
i had my first date there in 1993; i had a market spice tea and for years i would go back to pick up a bag of that tea. i am sure it was not new at that time. so, yea, people - this place is not that new.
as a vegetarian since i was 12 (1989), i can say regina has often been lacking in vegetarian restaurants. (i still hurt over the loss of heliotrope to this day!!)
i do not remember when 13th avenue started serving vegetarianfood(i can say they did not in 1993)... and i do not even know how many times this place has changed hands, so it is always fresh and different depending on who just took over the reins.
the bowls are a direct rip-off from fresh (restaurant in toronto), bit is it all good - i love them!!! :) i am soooo happy we can get them in regina!!
i will say that i have experienced the negative customer service that many people have posted about here. i have seen some of the most atrocious customer service in this restaurant over the years. i also had some bad experiences with thefoodnot being as tasty as other times.
it has been awhile, though, so perhaps new owners have taken over again and the staff are more friendly.
however, i just called in a big order for delivery and the bank machine was not working and i had to reduce my order to match the $20 in my wallet. disappointing.
provided the current owners can commit to employing good staff with kind hearts who provide good customer service.... (and make sure their bank machine works!) ... and thefoodquality stays high ... this place will, for me, always be a regina staple and near and dear to my heart.

i ordered for pick up yesterday and i'm happy to say it was delicious! and they actually picked up the phone! due to me trying to orderfoodprobably 6months ago and they never answered. can't wait to eat there soon again! i posted pics as well!

just not sure why everytime i call no one picks up the phone! (and i'm not calling on the days that are closed)!

i used to love this place. the menu is great for vegetarians but over the last year thefoodhas gone way down hill. inconsistent to say the least. improperly prepared sometimes (i had a soup that appeared to be canned lentils in tepid water). i keep trying hoping it was an off day but the last five times have been awful.

i heart local. easily in my top 5 places for healthy, veg-friendlyfoodin regina and with their new 13th ave blend of espresso beans, i can't help but order a delicious americano every time i'm there! i love their commitment to using fresh, local ingredients and the cute, character house they run their business out of guarantees cozy, friendly vibes. try the power salad with cilantro-lime dressing and a vegan power bar for desert! they also carry a variety of beer (paddock wood is from saskatoon) to enjoy on the patio on a hot summer day or whenever you feel the need!

great look for 2013! warm and cozy!foodis better than ever. my new favourite is the marakesh stew. nutritious and delicious.

cheesecakes in the new year. still loving the healthy vegeterian menu. i also enjoy the sweets. i am looking forward to the special cheesecakes in the new year, the double chocolate cheesecake, the apple caramel and others!

customer service could use some work.. i've been here around 15 times since it first opened in 2000 or so. a longstanding fixture in cathedral. sadly, i've noticed the customer service has declined pretty badly in the past year or so. i like thefoodbut the waitresses there are very abrupt, non personable and almost "snooty". i've asked them about ingredients in their meals and they don't seem to want to discuss it. maybe i'm picky but i just wanted to know what "bee pollen" was. the prices are also pretty high. all in all, pretty good vegetarianfoodbut would not go again because of the service. if i am paying that much for a breakfast bowl, veggie bowl or latte i expect great customer service. seems to be too much to ask now a days in these high end coffee shops.
