excellent food. my favorite is the pesto trout with my chosen sides of corn grits and asparagus. the trout is amazing, crusted in pesto. the grits are wonderful. the asparagus is terrific, roasted with garlic and parmesan.serviceis good and professional (we loved kristen who served us and she was extremely attentive). the back room is perfect for a meeting of 30 people. they arranged the tables exactly as i asked and there was plenty of space. the room is nicely decorated. it is right off the kitchen for easy staff access, and there is even a private bathroom. there is a great little foyer entering the room as well for sign in sheets or brochures. perfect for meetings. would also be perfect for small parties. staff was very accommodating.

i love zea’s! theserviceis consistently pretty good. they have delicious food and drinks. they also have very healthy options. my favorite salad in town is the strawberry chicken salad from zea’s! their loaded hummus is wonderful! great for a quick lunch, night out, family, or a celebration. one of my favorite restaurants in lafayette.

just like pavlov's dog, say the words "roasted corn grits" and i start salivating. i know the grits cant be good for your health because they taste sooooo good. so you have to try them even if you are a grits hater (like i was) because these are not ordinary grits. ok on to the rest of the food. i had the thai rib stack, which are short ribs with a sweet spicy soy sauce.  they tasted divine and were very tender. theservicewas quick and very good. prices are inline with high class restaurants and drink prices were reasonable. like many of the good places in lafayette it can get crowded especially on fridays and saturdays so you might want to go early if you can. all in all i enjoyed and look forward to going back.

first time here and i found zea to be a jewel hidden away in lafayette. their menu features a good selection of rotisserie foods though some are only available on specific days. i was fortunate to order a rotisserie braised veal and lordy it just melted in your mouth. it was succulent and served with a light and delicious glaze. side vegetables were roasted corn grits and fresh (not frozen spinach
this seems to be a popular restaurant that includes families.serviceis quick and attentive. good customer focus

i recommend this restaurant as a most stop and dine one when visiting lafayette

this is a two prong review.
we ordered zeas using the waitr app.
i thought theserviceand speed we exceptional.
i thought the portions on the other hand were smaller than i would have gotten if i was eating in.
the pasta breaux bridge was very good and seasoned well.
the ribs were a tad on the tough side unfortunately. but the corn fits and taters were good.

i had the hummus and some sort of shrimp appetizer on a bed of quinoa.  mom had garlic chicken with potatoes and grits.  everything was delicious!  well, the potatoes were just okay, imo, but everything else we would order again.  staff was friendly. servicewas quick.

consistently good grub!. i have eaten here many times and both the food andserviceare consistently good. the asian shrimp appetizer is outstanding as are the hamburgers. if you're wanting something on the lighter side, try a salad. they're all amazing. the rotisserie chicken (1/2 of a bird) is to die for. and of course, let's not forget the grits....simply can't go wrong with the grits!!!!!

one of my favorite restaurants in lafayette, if not my number 1. theserviceis fantastic and each server i've had has been knowledgable on all of the menu items and preparations. the menu has a great variety and can make make anyone happy with all of the choices. they offer appetizers, small played, entree salads, specialty sandwiches, as well as delicious fresh seafood, steak, and rotisserie chicken. i would recommend any grilled item as they have an open flame grill and creates a beautiful finished product. absolutely fantastic place.

not so good. we went to zea's for lunch and i was disappointed in the food and service. we went with a party of 9 and i found that theservicecould have been better. seems like it took forever for the server to bring out the drinks. i was hungry all week for the kobe beef burger with an egg on top. i placed the order then a few minutes later my server came out and said the restaurant ran out of eggs. how exactly does a restaurant run out of eggs??? what happened to the customer is always right? the manager should have came out and explained that the restaurant was out of eggs, but we are sending someone out to get some more so it might be a little longer than expected.

everything i have eaten from zea's has been excellent. over-hyped by pretty much everyone but the food and theserviceis absolutely great!
mediterranean hummus is a must-try.
almond shrimp is a to die for kind of dish.
best corn grits on the planet!phenomenal thai ribs.

enjoyable experience. my aunt and cousin came in from texas, and we decided to check out zea the day before valentines.servicewas great, but the food was a good b+. will be going back soon!

love it!. this is one of lafayette's best restaurants!
consistently great! everything is delicious, even the drinks. well, the mojitos leave a little to be desired, but the margaritas, the bellinis are sooooo delicious, and all of the entrées are scrumptious! i love the almond chicken salad and the corn grits and the hummus and everyone loves the asian almond shrimp! just wonderful! customerserviceis perfect!

consistency. the food is good but not consistent. sometimes it's awesome and others it's not. the drinks are pretty great for a chain. try the duck empanadas, they might change your life.

not the same. inconsistent, sometimes it's great, others it's disappointing. the food is usually good, but nothing has ever knocked my socks off. the duck empanadas have to be one of my favorite items, but they never get me worked up about going to zea. i should be more excited about an entree.
get something off of the rotisserie, that's your best bet. the salads are good and the panini's are ok. the seafood is also good, but the pasta has disappointed me before.
one redeeming thing is that theserviceis excellent.
