excellent. love the food!!!! food was cold once or twice because of a big party (12 people). but nothing else to complain about. the food is great!

a few thursday's ago the ladies and i had lunch at zea's. lunch time is our time to catch up.  this particular day, i was not in much of a talking mood, but i am thankful to be surrounded by such amazing women, because i definitely left feeling better. there is never a dull moment when we meet for lunch.  zea's environment is for a relaxing night out or a formal night out. on most weekends, you can expect a wait if you are going for dinner. the lunch traffic is pretty busy as well. zea's has been in existence for approximately 15 years. the first location was in harahan, la. in the new orleans area, there are 6 locations. there are also other locations in lafayette, covington & baton rouge, louisiana & mobile and birmingham, alabama. i ordered a 1/2 rack of wet ribs with double corn grits. this is one of my favorite dishes at zea's. their corn grits are amazing! the best grits i have ever had. the grits are not dry but very moist. the consistency and texture of the grits were perfect

wonderful! lunch is a bargain. get the grits. i love the sirloin with mushroom gravy. you can get a very large portion to take home if you can't get enough.

went there last night. to say i was disappointed would be an understatement. pricey menu with nothing inspirational, along with nothing memorable for the taste buds.

i have never actaully been inside the restaurant itself, but zea caters and i would definitley recommend that!

great. absolutley love zea's i get some type of fish almost everytime i go! also can't beat the corn grits!!!!

excellent food. my favorite is the pesto trout with my chosen sides of corn grits and asparagus. the trout is amazing, crusted in pesto. the grits are wonderful. the asparagus is terrific, roasted with garlic and parmesan. service is good and professional (we loved kristen who served us and she was extremely attentive). the back room is perfect for a meeting of 30 people. they arranged the tables exactly as i asked and there was plenty of space. the room is nicely decorated. it is right off the kitchen for easy staff access, and there is even a private bathroom. there is a great little foyer entering the room as well for sign in sheets or brochures. perfect for meetings. would also be perfect for small parties. staff was very accommodating.

my favorite is the corn grits - a real winner. on the other hand, i have always found the entrees to be somewhat mediocre. no reservations. seems like always a big crowd with a decent wait on weekend nights.

i love zea’s! the service is consistently pretty good. they have delicious food and drinks. they also have very healthy options. my favorite salad in town is the strawberry chicken salad from zea’s! their loaded hummus is wonderful! great for a quick lunch, night out, family, or a celebration. one of my favorite restaurants in lafayette.

just like pavlov's dog, say the words "roasted corn grits" and i start salivating. i know the grits cant be good for your health because they taste sooooo good. so you have to try them even if you are a grits hater (like i was) because these are not ordinary grits. ok on to the rest of the food. i had the thai rib stack, which are short ribs with a sweet spicy soy sauce.  they tasted divine and were very tender. the service was quick and very good. prices are inline with high class restaurants and drink prices were reasonable. like many of the good places in lafayette it can get crowded especially on fridays and saturdays so you might want to go early if you can. all in all i enjoyed and look forward to going back.

first time here and i found zea to be a jewel hidden away in lafayette. their menu features a good selection of rotisserie foods though some are only available on specific days. i was fortunate to order a rotisserie braised veal and lordy it just melted in your mouth. it was succulent and served with a light and delicious glaze. side vegetables were roasted corn grits and fresh (not frozen spinach
this seems to be a popular restaurant that includes families. service is quick and attentive. good customer focus

i recommend this restaurant as a most stop and dine one when visiting lafayette
