there is no order in being seated. we waited thirty minutes. many tables were seated. we never moved on the list. the money spent on the bar was a waste. i have eaten there for years. i may never go back.

great pizza!. i thought the pizza was some of the best i've ever had, but i do wish the service had been more attentive. we had a great time while there and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

great venue. the food is always great here. the wood fired oven is amazing - in the winter, i love to drop in just to inhale the amazing aromas and enjoy a glass of wine.

service rocks, we love this place! the owner is always around, the staff is super polite and it's just a great place to eat.

the best best food i have ever eaten has been at zanatas we live a mile away and go there a least twice weekly.

a great place with great service. the cheese plate app is delicious, somehow they out do other establishments on a simple platter. have to get it every time we go. and the pizza is also terrific. i get the new york white add chicken. have had some other pizzas which are all great but this is my favorite. service has always been great and everything over all makes this a terrific place for dinner. the specials are written up on the wall, and are usually decently priced. ribeye is like $36 which is a little steep for a non steakhouse in my opinion, but haven't tried it yet. they also have many gluten free options which makes it easy for a variety of our friends to join us for a nice dinner out.

food is great. don't agree with other writers about "not kid friendly"...maybe depends on your kids. we take our kids to zanata about three times a week.
i would prefer if most people left their kids at home so we can have an enjoyable evening.
the food is always great! staff does a fine job. you can have a cheap date with pizza and salad or you can go all out and have great appetizers, steaks and fish. the new pasta dishes are good, too.
lunch is great value with a cup of soup and half a sandwich at nine bucks.
zanata serves sterling tea, it is my favorite.

crab dip subpar. pizza was okay.. just went last night and the ambience and the service were both very good. the food was just okay. our waiter raved on the crab dip, but i thought it had too much melted cheese and not enough taste from the crab. the pizza was not bad, but definitely pretty small. i would recommend only two hungry people to a pizza.
all in all, i would try it again, but order more next time.

by all means if you do not care about the possibility of contracting covid-19 go to zanata restaurant. most of the employees display a brazen disregard for the proper wearing of masks and social distancing in accordance with the texas executive order 29. masks on chins and no social distancing among employees including the manager who is setting the example. one waitress had her mask on her chin and was on top of customers at her tables. i give zanata restaurant a thumbs down and will not be returning.

a rating of 1 is still too high. not worth the wait. staff is rude. your money will be better spent somewhere else. we will never go back to this place.

tonight my bride and i made our first visit to this much recommend restaurant, we hoped it would live up to the hype, and it did! we enjoyed bruschetta, a premo pizza, and the pecan praline cheesecake. we already look forward to our next visit.

we have eaten here several times. it's wonderful, it's all great. their drinks are also fantastic. not kid friendly, but a nice treat for hubs and me.

this is our go-to place in rockwall. the thing that i like most is the consistency of food and service, which is always spot on. they cook everything in wood fired ovens. the blue crab dip and the spinach gorgonzola salad are must tries. best restaurant in rockwall, bar none.

excellent food, service, and atmosphere. we walked in on a busy saturday night, so there was a wait. we opted to wait at the bar. the bartenders were friendly, and our drinks came out quickly. 

once seated, we split the blue crab dip app and three little pigs pizza. the crab dip was simply amazing, and will be back for solely that. the pizza was also delicious, and i am eager for a second visit to try out several others. highly recommed this one.

this is always a favorite for my husband and i. we love the crab stuffed avocado appetizer and usually share that and a pizza. the three little pigs pizza is especially good. we have always had good service and a good experience.
