this restaurant is situated on top floor of gemini continental. very posh place. great for get togethers, family dinners, kitty parties and stuff.

the decor is nice. great ambience. the staff is friendly.

the flavors are good. food is tasty. the place is well cleaned. i really liked the phirni and paneer dishes.

rates are a little on the higher side but the ambience, decor, cleanliness and food when added up together it is worth it.

tried the fish finger which was delicious.. shahi tukra is super yum.. and the reason for me to come again and again?????? seekh kebab was oki.. mocktails are abobe average. this restaurant is worth a try?? price a little on the higher side

the best place to drink n dine in the heart of city with a magnificent view from the 7th floor.
great taste and reasonable rates. try the dum biryani, chilli chicken... they are simply awesome. have a chilled corona and relax. you would come again and again.

zaika, located on top of gemini continental hotel gives a panoramic view of beautiful parivartan chowk area of lucknow, overlooking the pristine begum hazrat mahal park, you will come across a beautiful and vast lobby of the hotel on your way to the lift and is a pleasant sight. the food is good and there was live music in the evening when i was there, i didn't interact much with staff as it was a friend's party, however in my small opinion they were courteous and prompt. i can't recommend any specific item but overall the best part of experience was the view of lucknow and nice ambience.

located on the 7th floor of gemini continental "zaika" offers decent ambiance and eating space for the not so frequent culinary outings one might decide to have. the decor is okayish but a little cluttered for the star value attached. we ordered a jaljeera (which was nice) and a beer to start with(they ran out of kingfisher pints). for starters we tried out the galauti kebab which was nice and tangy but could have been a tad more juicy. for the main course we went for a plate of boti keema and gemini's malai kofta. the boti keema was well prepared but the boti(meat) serving was not that generous with pieces covered with fat than meat. the malai kofta had a generous serving of ghee but the koftas tasted bland(the gravy was good though).
the decor of the table also requires some improvement with an almost dead rose placed at the center of our table. one also had to ask for cutlery like spoons and forks which can be avoided in a fine dining restaurant. overall the place offers nice ambiance and average food, authorities can improve the customer experience through some deliberation though.

zaika has been one of my favourites. the environment and ambience is comfortable and good. butter chicken is a must try. overall a very good restaurant and among best in lucknow.

food 🍴 was tasty..all was full of ghee and love..buttery naan was too soft + crispy..paneer was too heavy...bar was good and cool 😎 enough ...service is quick...decoration is soo soo...above all nice experience....

zaika by gemini continental is one of the few places one can go out with friends, family or for leisure dinners and lunch.
the place boasts good view from the front side, not to be compared to faluknuma by clarks. the ambience and the staff is in formal taste. the menu is very well varied. with the food being very good in preparation and authenticity. side orders and additionals offered are equally good.
the bar is very well stocked and competitively priced.
their kareli ki nihari should not be missed.

the once flavour of lakhnavi cuisine, zaika seems to have lost its grandeur with age. or, as it may seem so, the dishes have no great taste left in them. other restaurants are providing newer and added delicacies with enhanced flavours.

been there a while ago, ordered a veg and non veg platter for the starters, mutton rogan josh, chicken malai korma and paneer hyderabadi for the main course. and except the non veg platter, everything tasted so boring, nothing great to write upon, as if we were given a punishment to eat it, so we ate. paneer tasted as if was left out in the open since last night. mutton was over cooked and chicken was hard to find in the chicken malai korma. i guess the chef didn't like us, so everything was spoilt. as were hungry, ordered a chicken biryani, and to our surprise, it turned out to be good. not at all in comparison to the next door dastarkhwan, but coming out a winner in the rest of the dishes.

waiters are good and polite, seemed to be paid well, however, the chef needs improvement. a lot of my friends warned me not to go there as the place has lost its sheen, still i had the audacity to challenge their warnings.

not at all recommended, unless they change the quality of taste they provide. the folks down there provide exceptionally mouthwatering dishes, if not match to their taste, then at least be better, because one pays you handsomely, to make him feel happy, not sad.

eating here after a very long time, the food remains generally good but doesn't leave any great memories after. also, i do think it doesn't remain good value for money in a city where you can eat so well for far less. good place to go with family.

we were around this place to shop and we were interested in eating at the open air restraunts surrounding this place.. but these places have no vegetarian options so we opted to eat here.. this is a restraunt at 7th floor of hotel gemini intercontinental... the ambience is nice and we were escorted to our tables as we entered. to eat we settled for a chicken reshmi kabab and chicken biryani for ourselves, while our vegetarian friend settled for a veg kabab platter and a few breads to go along. chicken reshmi kabab was great. perfectly cooked.. very tasty.. infact one of the tastiest i have had so far... chicken biryani was again very nice.. the portion sizes were big enough.. the veg platter was also huge.. with a good variety of kebabs... they all tasted well... the major let down of the place was that the cloth napkin at one of the seat was yellow and used.. and that's the only reason for this low rating... something like this happening in a restraunt where u pay at least thrice compared to the rest of lucknow was really a blunder.. otherwise i would have rated food as 4!!

the place is way too cramped with closely spaced tables that you can barely find place to move. even a basic drink like jaljeera doesn't taste good. over priced water further spoils your mood.. some of the dishes are good.. the tables next to the huge glass window offer an amazing view of the hazratganj chauraha esp in the night.. slow service gets compensated by the view outside the window...

it does not offer something add on zaika to its dishes. the dishes are average in taste. ambience wise the place is beautiful as located in the heart of the city offers good views from the top. service is good too. but they surely should add some zing to its dishes.

located on 7th floor you do get a good view of ganj, the ambience is good and the food too, had lunch here with my office colleagues and seniors and the experience was awesome, though non veg starters and main course were ok but the veg course was more delicious

so, to start with i would like to thank gemini continental and zaika; by this medium for being an amazing, nearly close to perfect host and venue for my wedding... 

regarding zaika, i would rate it as 4.5 / 5 considering all the fronts including food quality and taste, hygiene, co-operation, ,cost and affordability, ambience :) the only area where there could be slight improvement is the service-timing and promptness.. rest everything feels upto the mark !!! 

the buffet breakfast had ample variety and  it was worth spending each penny...the lunch and dinner includes multiple cuisines and was surprisingly appropriate in all the specialized areas. be it chinese, italian, mughlai or continental. 

the hotel staff and manager(s) were all very polite and were all aligned in the provisions. "lucknawi tehzeeb" was clearly reflected in the way they dealt with the customers and entertained the queries. special mention of the help they extended by providing extra support in terms of unforeseen arrangement of food (if reqd) or guests specific demands...

hope they keep up the good work and stand out in lucknow for sure with an usp of being located at the hazratganj, heart of the city :)
