visited with family...theambienceis pretty good...starters were awesome...kebabs were exceptional..main course was also good..overall nice experience.

i visited zaika on rakhi for lunch and the place was quite empty the reason being that their ac was not working initially but by the time our lunch came in the issue was resolved. the place has a goodambienceand wonderful view of hazratganj area. i tried their steamed chicken momos in starters which came with a salsa sauce and was good in taste. in main course i tried their chicken tikka masala, mutton rogan josh, naan, rumali roti, aloo kulcha which were all good in taste but could have been better. their veg hakka noodles were good. the staff were helpful and took care of our needs promptly.

the phrase old is gold is meant for this place. one the oldest places with nice warm and cozyambienceand live music wich reminds you of the time of early 2000's before the smartphone era. the staff is friendly and they truly depict lucknow's "tehzeeb". the food is very good. you go there and will be satisfied everytime. not so many places like this exist anymore. would recommend everyone to visit this place.

was staying at this hotel, meals were all buffet. nice place for friends, family and business. serves delicious mutton and lamb. also serves a few good vegetarian dishes too.
decor andambienceis good, service has a few scope of improvement, overall good by the city's standards.

niceambiencewith soothing karaoke music playing in the background. we ordered the veg kebab platter and the canneloni florentine, both were delicious and perfect in terms of taste and quantity. soup and soft drink were served complementary which was a nice surpirse :)
staff and manager were very polite and service was quick and up to the mark.

the food is very smooth and value for money but the service is very late. we ordered chicken kalimirch and matar paneer and the same was served after about 40 minutes.ambienceis not even close to what their prices in menu offer.

we decided to try out the quite talked about buffet spread of 'zaika' for lunch today ! this centrally located beauty no doubt provides you with a beautiful view of our beautiful city.

coming to the buffet, the type is - sit-down-buffet which means you would be served at your table and the spread is not unlimited. we decided to try both veg and non-veg menus (both are priced at the same rates....blessing for non-veg lovers :d )

soups:- we had peking soup and there is nothing that can go wrong with a peking soup ;) so it was good in taste !

starters:- we had papri chat, honey chilli potato, paneer tikka and chicken tikka. papri chat was a show stealer followed by paneer tikka and honey chilli potato. sadly, chicken tikka was very poorly cooked, pieces were very very hard.

beverages:- jal jeera 3/5 (i am not a fan of jal-jeera but it was liked a lot by my friend. he gulped down 2 glasses of it :p)
main course:- coming to the main course, we ordered chinese as well as north indian:-

north indian:-
dal sultani:- tasty 4/5 
handi paneer:- bland 2/5. it lacked taste.
mix veg:- pathetic -2/5 (it was tasteless...the last time i tasted such a thing was when i ordered food in the train). not at all matching to the standard of this place.

chinese:-
chilly chicken:- again the chicken pieces were very hard. 2/5
egg fried rice:- good.  4/5

desert:- we ordered chocolate ice-cream which was very very tasty. 5/5

overall, theambienceis really nice. the place is well maintained and is an ideal place for romantic dates as the services are quite laid back giving you ample time to spend with your loved one ;) food, however, needs a lot of working and especially the presentation. food served to us lacked presentation.

price:- 550 + tax (additionally they charge 75inr for a single bottle of water :/ )

p.s. if you are an axis bank user, you can avail extra 15% discount which however is valid only on ala-carte.

best place in and around ganj to have a meal. theambienceis good, atmosphere silent and a nice view in the daytime. the food is good bt service is slow. i had the dinner which had a salad,a corn soup which were fine. in the maincourse we had dal makhni and mixed veg with almond(chinese) with bread basket. the dal was the best for me till now i must the fragrance of the ghee used made it a complete show stopper. the breads were also gud nd the vegetable had a mild flavour. all in all a nice silent place for a dinner with family or friends. due to the slow service we wanted to return the veg. bt it was not possible as told by the server so he offered us any dezzert for free. this was the best part

zaika has been one of my favourites. the environment andambienceis comfortable and good. butter chicken is a must try. overall a very good restaurant and among best in lucknow.

zaika by gemini continental is one of the few places one can go out with friends, family or for leisure dinners and lunch.
the place boasts good view from the front side, not to be compared to faluknuma by clarks. theambienceand the staff is in formal taste. the menu is very well varied. with the food being very good in preparation and authenticity. side orders and additionals offered are equally good.
the bar is very well stocked and competitively priced.
their kareli ki nihari should not be missed.
