great food. chef jaco has a great talent for putting the most explosive flavours together and even something simple like a toasted sandwich offers an amazing culinary experience. service is above par and the arty setting makes for a special experience

i bought a groupon voucher for two lunch + drink, such an excellent deal. cafe locates at a quiet garden with gallery and museum next door. menu is a bit simple but did quality is good. services are excellent which i will return for sure, no matter with special deal or not.

everyone should have a "3rd place". that special place you go to that's not your home (1st) or your office (2nd), where you find comfort and pleasure and just love being there. yoco is my 3rd place. it's also sometimes my office so double win, yay!

really nice eatery with a great menu, friendly staff and convenient location. great for a lunch with colleagues or friends. and to top it off, the rust-en-vrede gallery provides a bit of culture while you wait for your food. highly recommended!

i had such a great meet-up here trying out their sandwich menu! they have some delicious options like the meatball sandwich and the chicken and plum chutney! they also have some great wine options and they have the whole range of juicebox juices! we were also treated to one of chef jaco's dessert creations. it was all kinds of chocolatey goodness!

hidden away gem in the durbanville rust en vrede. went there from a friend referral and was quite surprised how nice this place is. the owner is russian and he was very welcoming. even suggest option on the menu.

my friend and i enjoyed a nice cup of cappuccino and a red cappuccino. while we wait for our meal the owner comes around and told us that it's traditional in russia to have a shot of vodka to make us even hungrier for food. i added a picture of the vodka and the shot glasses a proof 😜

i really enjoyed my breakfast i had the poach egg with salmon, citrus sauce on a ciabatta. the fish was so fresh and so tasty and i love the sauce, think it makes a perfect combination between the fish and the eggs. my friend had the shasuka and he said it's the best he ever had.

definitely not my first and last time will be back.

i must say that if you want good food, brilliant coffee and a perfect setting that consists of stunning scenery, lots of greens, a bit of history and no cars in sight, yoco eatery has it all combined in the perfect experience. be sure to visit this restaurant in the centre of durbanville.

yoco is a great spot, in a lovely setting. their food is brilliantly prepared and super fresh. they even hand make their own pasta. the twists in their dishes are great and show an awesome amount of passion for food! a highly recommended spot in the north.

this restaurant opened about a year ago right in the middle of a quaint building in durbanville.. it also happens to be a heritage site. they have outdoor seating, with a very cosy indoor area, with old school wooden floors, thick walls and high ceilings. the owners are very focused on detail. on a fresh winters morning you will be given knee blankets, just to keep the cold away. inside there is also a small fireplace.
in my opinion, they arguably have the friendliest service of any coffee shop in the area. for the americano lovers out there.. be sure to always get a solid layer of crema with each cup served. one of the most consistent coffee shops i have been to in a long time. they have a highly trained and friendly barista who i can see,takes pride in his work.
they offer a small, but effective food menu. everything made from scratch and pasta will be hand made on the premises. the chef is highly skilled and his food are always outstanding. he has astonishing plating skills and an eye for detail. every time they put a plate in front of you, one cant help to take a picture of it. simply amazing. order something basic like a cheese and tomato toastie, and you will get blown away by a work of art and a taste explosion. they also serve basic breakfasts and wraps, with a good lunch menu as well as a black board which changes often. this very same black board always have some sort of special running as well.. combos with cake and coffee, or a toasted sandwich with a juice. perfect for a quick lunch while using their free wifi. on wednesdays they have pensioners specials and yoco eatery also caters for kitchen teas, birthdays and other events. they handle large groups with ease, which to me is a clear sign of an organized kitchen and a chef who can handle pressure.
yoco eatery also obtained their liquor license recently and offers a range of craft beers, top wines from the surrounding wine farms and much more. be sure to try them out, you will be surprised.. the sell small food related gifts like relishes, dips, sauces and cookies.
i have given them a rating of 4.5.. the only improvement i can suggest for now, is their visibility from the street in terms of signage,flags etc. if you drive past the area you will not see them at all .. i am under the impression that it might be due to the rules of the landlords or the heritage site rules. they deserve a chance to advertise and display their name like any other business in the area. cheers herman

this little gem in durbanville central boasts an impressive menu with great korean meals and vegetarian options. the owner is lovely and the fellow diners are extremely welcoming & polite.

this place is a gem of durbanville. sitting there makes you feel like sitting in the garden in stellenbosch. quality of food, friendly staff and new korean dishes! the whisky tasting is must do things on your list. love the rust en vrede arty gallery exhibition! must go and try! perfect venue for a special day like bday party or and function.

only been here for their breakfast and it was very good. can recommend this place for a quick morning breakfast over the weekend.

excellent experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by owner, beautiful art surrounding you. meal was served hot and excellent taste. waitress was very friendly and helpful. love this place.
