it was the worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant. on all levels-service, food & ethical. only smooth part was getting a table & being seated by the hostess.
first server started by almost banging the crockery & cutlery infront of us. he was unapologetically forceful & loud with that! we never got asked for water or served until we asked for it! this is just basic at any given restaurant, let alone a fine dining one.
he then takes my order and walks off without
even asking my friend for her order! we thought he maybe coming back but that didn't happen. so we had to seek him out to place the rest of our order. then we get our food all wrong. the dish that showed up didn't match the description on the menu, further when we asked for the chef, we were told he was too busy. we thought atleast the manager needed to show up at this time, but that did not happen either. and of course let me mention that we did not get asked if we wanted to order any drinks. anyway, we asked for a new server since by thistimewe were really fed up. not much changed even after the new server arrived. it was only when we got our 3rd server that we finally got the hospitality that we deserved.
however, let me add the icing on the cake here. as if all this wasn't enough, we even got billed wrongly. when the bill arrived, the price of the dish we ordered was lesser on the menu than wot showed up on our bill!!!who would think this would happen at a high-end restaurant like this!! when we called for the manager, he just gave us an apology and carried on. the bill was revised but no real compensation provided for the most horrible evening of our lives.

i've been going to yauatcha on and off for the last 5 years at least - and lately the quality of the food has dropped significantly. the firsttimei went there i was quite impressed by the quality, presentation and quantity of the foods. the dumplings were very tasty and of varying appealing colours. the main course was flavourful.

however, that is no longer the case. we went for lunch and had the taste of yauatcha menu. the salad was not fresh - the lettuce leaves had withered. and it was unimpressive. dumplings were unremarkable. the service was terrible - took a longtimeto get the dishes. they screwed up the main course. and the taste of the main course was no better than something one can get at the local chung-wa for about 1/4 the price.

and the place was exceedingly uncomfortable. one had a choice as to whether to sit near the kitchen side - which is exceedingly noisy or sit in fairly close proximity of other people. perhaps for covid reasons they had turned off the ac or put it on low. the all glass decor makes it in to a greenhouse - so the overall experience was extremely poor. and to top it all it ends up costing 3.5 grand.

so u kept the chocolate musse on top of soup it melted by thetimeit reached me. mains were very average lamb was not great noodles had low seasoning .... not ordering again

extremely good service. mahendra was very very helpful and courteous! food is great. our go to cantonese place. chocolate hazelnut mousse is to die for! dim sum cravings satisfied! second visit and bothtimegoing back extremely happy! ❣️

i was attended by sita,she was so courteous during mytimeat the restaurant.the taste of the food was good and good value for me,the restaurant has good options for vegetarians.definitely visiting again

it was my firsttimeeating here and it did not disappoint. delectable selection of asian dishes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. su mai and char su pork bun were perfect. ordered the crispy pecking duck, the meat was a little dry but flavours were good. the mapou tofu was good as well although could have been spicier. the service was top-notch.

came for lunch after a longtimeon a busy sunday. the crowd speaks for the food and the place. really happy to see one of my favourite restaurants buzzing and back on track after all this time.
had to order for the long awaited truffle edamame and crystal dumplings. was too engrossed in the mains until the epic chocolate pebble for dessert.
kudos and three cheers to the whole team which is pulling up a great show.
can't wait to come back again soon.

i had heard great reviews of this place. i love asian food and dumplings in particular. saturday lunch at yauatcha turned out to be a soul satisfying experience.. it is one of the best places for asian food in bengaluru. the staff is super courteous.. the service was quick for us.. every dish was beyond delicious. we tried cheung fun, steamed and baked dumplings and they were all super delicious. main course was well prepared. could have been better however we could be biased since we were already full with appetisers..
for dessert we ordered their famous raspberry delice and it was out of the world. i am not a dessert person however it was so good.. that for the firsttimei ordered the same dessert the second time. :)
i will surely visit this place again..

by far the best cantonese food i've had in bangalore. every dish was distinct and sophisticated. the sauces and seasonings were busting of dilicate yet impactful flavours. their must try dishes are crispy prawn cheng fun and
chicken shanghai dumplings. the other items i ordered were the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf and braised chicken with mushrooms which were great as well. their desserts are beautifully platted and simply perfect in terms of taste and texture. the intense flavour of the dark chocolate mouse in the raspberry delice was beautiful!
the ambiance is very minimalistic. not fancy enough for a luxury dining. the service is good and preparationtimeis decent enough. we didn't have to wait long to receive our order. the music is subtle and not very loud. however, they have an open kitchen. so prepare yourself to hear all the cooking.

went there hoping to have a good meal. reservation and the waitingtimewas completely ignored by the front of the house. was spoken to very rudely. told us that there are no tables and that we need to leave. horrible service from the front of the house. hope it improves since this is a really good place.

i took my parents for lunch on saturday because my parents love chinese food. while the food didn’t disappoint, the service did! it took ages between one course to another even when the entire order was give upfront. we did remind our host nikita about the same, but it still took so muchtimethat appetite was lost. can understand the weekend rush, and can understand the delay to serve the first course. but having a 30 min delay after you are done with soup and dim sums to wait for noodles seemed disappointing. at least happy the food was great. maybe will give weekday a try!

my firsttimeat yauatcha and it was sorely disappointing. the server got my order wrong despite me writing it down on my phone, showing it to her, and reading it out as well.

the beef tenderloin was tough and chewy - i expected better from a "michelin-starred" restaurant. the hakka noodles were passable. all the food was extremely oily.

this restaurant has an open kitchen with no glass partition, and all the banging and clanking of crockery can be heard in the seating area. they could create an immensely classy ambience by just installing sound-proof glass between the kitchen and dining area. having a romantic dinner here is impossible.

we skipped dessert and left because the food, service and ambience was extremely disappointing. won't be back.
