had a great time. staff are very nice and provide amazing service. ajay helped us with some great suggestions. if you want to experience some authentic food, this is the place.

had been to this restaurant for the firt time, i must say that staff were good, food was delicious.. tofu, lotus stem, dumplings, raspberry delice and chocolate mousse were good..

went there for a lunch last saturday..first of all, they made us wait close to 40-45 mins for the food. the mint julep we'd ordered was atrocious - badly watered down and the mint leaves hadn't even been muddled. then they served staters and main course together even though we'd clarified what we wanted to start with and what we would like to have later. the food itself was average at best (as my boyfriend remarked, the assam curry tasted like maggi masala more than anything else). nearly an hour of bad times, high dissatisfaction, and you end up with a bill of close to 4k for two. never going there again. servers, managers... everyone ignored us instead of giving us updates on where our food was. pathetic, joke of a restaurant. i'm amazed at the rating it has. definitely doesn't deserve it.

it was the worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant. on all levels-service, food & ethical. only smooth part was getting a table & being seated by the hostess.
first server started by almost banging the crockery & cutlery infront of us. he was unapologetically forceful & loud with that! we never got asked for water or served until we asked for it! this is just basic at any given restaurant, let alone a fine dining one.
he then takes my order and walks off without
even asking my friend for her order! we thought he maybe coming back but that didn't happen. so we had to seek him out to place the rest of our order. then we get our food all wrong. the dish that showed up didn't match the description on the menu, further when we asked for the chef, we were told he was too busy. we thought atleast the manager needed to show up at this time, but that did not happen either. and of course let me mention that we did not get asked if we wanted to order any drinks. anyway, we asked for a new server since by this time we were really fed up. not much changed even after the new server arrived. it was only when we got our 3rd server that we finally got the hospitality that we deserved.
however, let me add the icing on the cake here. as if all this wasn't enough, we even got billed wrongly. when the bill arrived, the price of the dish we ordered was lesser on the menu than wot showed up on our bill!!!who would think this would happen at a high-end restaurant like this!! when we called for the manager, he just gave us an apology and carried on. the bill was revised but no real compensation provided for the most horrible evening of our lives.

yauatcha has the best cantonese food that i've ever tried. 

the ambience is spacious with beautiful lighting. completely covered glass walls with a blue tint. gives a cool vibe the second you walk in. fairly decent crowd. still found it a bit noisier than expected. 

the service is fantastic. the waiters are courteous and quite helpful with our orders. their recommendations are spot on. 

some of the dishes i tried are 
- fried turnip cake with vegetables 
- crispy prawn cheung fun 
- crispy lamb with raw mango 
- chocolate & raspberry delice 

all the above mentioned dishes taste wonderful. the turnip cake is fried to perfection and topped with burnt garlic and chilli which gives it an oomph. 

the cheung fun is the signature dish here. you start by pouring the warm soya sauce over the juicy prawn tempura wrapped in a delicate noodle wrap. absolutely divine. 

crispy lamb is quite exquisite. the crispy lamb pairs so well with the tanginess from the mango and the sweetness of the honey. one of my favorites. 

i highly recommend the desserts here. beautifully hand crafted desserts that taste impeccable. the raspberry delice takes my breath away every single time. ❤️ 

looking forward to visiting yauatcha once again. ❤️

nice ambience, tasty food, and amazing staff. all in all a 5 star experience. ajay was extremely patient and helpful in suggesting good dishes.

the food is average and the service is horrible… they made us wait for 45 mins to serve the main course.. the experience was very disappointing.. i could have spent 4k in a not so hyped restaurant and would have got way better service and better portion size.

simply true yauatcha taste, which i enjoyed thoroughly at my home with my family. we all are big fans of turnip cake and the desserts. the food came well packed and secured in the containers. although i live far from the restaurant, to my amaze, food was warm. can't wait to visit and enjoy the scrumptious meal at yauatcha.

i've been going to yauatcha on and off for the last 5 years at least - and lately the quality of the food has dropped significantly. the first time i went there i was quite impressed by the quality, presentation and quantity of the foods. the dumplings were very tasty and of varying appealing colours. the main course was flavourful.

however, that is no longer the case. we went for lunch and had the taste of yauatcha menu. the salad was not fresh - the lettuce leaves had withered. and it was unimpressive. dumplings were unremarkable. the service was terrible - took a long time to get the dishes. they screwed up the main course. and the taste of the main course was no better than something one can get at the local chung-wa for about 1/4 the price.

and the place was exceedingly uncomfortable. one had a choice as to whether to sit near the kitchen side - which is exceedingly noisy or sit in fairly close proximity of other people. perhaps for covid reasons they had turned off the ac or put it on low. the all glass decor makes it in to a greenhouse - so the overall experience was extremely poor. and to top it all it ends up costing 3.5 grand.

i dont think i'm going back there any time soon.
