xs-the place to be

not bad decent vibe , good place to get a drink .foodis avoidable and expensive , service is good on easy days can get iffy on busy days .

went with my friends to xs for couple of drinks. one of the best pubs in guwahati. the bar counter is fully wooden most of the walls are wooden so it gives you the english pub feel. the dj played good music which is always a thumbs up. their staff was very polite and well trained. xs definitely raises the standard of pub/restro loungein guwahati . you can compare this joint with pub of the metro cities. they have a well stocked bar. you get a lot of choice from their bar menu. but their services was very slow. we waited for more than half an hour for our starters.

my girlfriend order a mocktail some strawberry flavored drink. i didn't paid attention to the drink's name but i did tried it and it was good. for starters got some chicken wings and nachos. wings was good but nachos was ok. i have had better. for mains i got a pizza which was again not that great. the crust was very hard.
if you want to visit a cool english pub looking place and take some selfies and have some drinks xs is the place to be. but if you want goodfoodxs is not the place to be, yet!

service 2.5/5 though they are well trained and polite but they are very slow.
taste. 2/5 not the place if you want good food.

xs the pub themed restaurant, which looks amazing and gives you a feel of an irish pub and great place to go in guwahati.

the menu has mix of indian , continental and italianfood.
i ordered the tandoori mushroom which was great . the dahi kebab was ok and nothing special. do call for the chicken salad which was good and the black dal and nan was great too.
the aglio olio was a surprising good and a must try.

their alcohol license just got revoked so no drinks. but a good place for food.

if your in guwahati do give it a try.

well the place has really nice interiors and the booze andfoodis really good when it comes to the quantity compared to the price .
we had ordered a chicken pasta , and it easily served as the dinner for the three of us . as we friends were there to celebrate a special evening , we wanted to dance , and therefore we choose this place , as we had heard it had good music ..
but i felt a bit disappointed as , at around 8 in the evening itself they were paying loud music , making it very difficult to hear even the person sitting beside us ..

so , i would have been happier if the loudness could be meloded down a bit , during the very beginning of the night.but if someone wants to really enjoy at xs , i would suggest coming in at around 9 or after , that's when the music and the ambience are at its best !!
though i didnt like thefood...

the only good thing about this place is the ambience ...thefoodis below average when it comes to taste and i being someone who cooks extensively i need myfoodto be good . some might disagree but to each his own. i would go there for the ambience but not for thefoodat all.

wonderful place .. wonderful service, deliciousfoodwith intelligentfood& drinks menu. great ambience!!! the aura and the atmosphere is outstanding. the services are very prompt and caring. they have got a lovely in-house dj and live music system.... presentation was exceptionally good. i have visited this place many times in the past and also hosted a dinner & dance party, which was managed distinguishly and in a extremely superior manner.

the ambience is just great. its one of the best places to hang out with your friends and loved ones. the menu is very interesting. but the prices could have been a bit lower.foodis simply finger licking. great service!

the cheese layer on the top stinks and thefoodis sour in taste... please check for quality of the cheese used

the customer service is very very bad. horrendousfoodand service and they will take ages to servefoodand after that they will always take 1 hr to give you the bill. shitty experience and this is the second time.

the ambience is good. we visited the place on a afternoon so it was not crowded. service is slow but quality of thefoodis good. we ordered couple of dishes chicken with basil and bird chilly, chilli garlic butter prawns, murgh anari seekh kebabs and pork dry fry. the best one was chilli garlic butter prawns. murgh anari seekh kebab was very dry. pork dry fry was cooked well but very sweet. music was alright.

we are not liking the place much although we have heard a good review about it. ambience is not lively, although drinks andfoodis decent but considering music and environment is not entertaining. weekend dj and music is very average few staffs are not co-operative and welcoming, there ladies toilet was not working even after repeated request and reminders no one bother to fix the issue.
overall a avg pub in guwahati, there are many more to compete this.
