williams soul food express

we have been meaning to eat at williams soul food express for the last couple weeks. last night we stopped in for dinner. this is a very friendly, happy group and they make you feel welcome. the brightly painted walls display a wonderful collection of soul/r&b lps. while waiting for the food we had agreattime reminiscing over the different titles and artists we grew up listening to. hearing those wonderful songs playing was great! we had decided on the tuesday night special of meatloaf with two sides and choice of roll or cornbread. fantastic meatloaf!greatblack eyed peas, really good green beans,greatfresh salad and good okra. the owners are very sweet and make every from scratch so you're not getting any processed or frozen foods. they give you huge portions for a low price with a happy attitude in a spotless clean restaurant. we will definitely be back!

great food,greatservice. i don't know what else there is to say about this place. ive gone multiple times for lunch, food is always hot and fresh.

best fried chicken anywhere. they have incredible fried chicken! i love their rolls too. homemade and so fresh andgreattasting!!! try their fresh fried pork rinds!!! i would drive to rogers just for them!!! so good! . you can't beat the taste and freshness of everything! reallygreatfriendly service too!

3 chicken dark, okra, collard greens, cornbread, tea. all excellent! and music isgreattoo!

open in rogers now. they have moved to the far side of rogers (old 71 business) next to king burrito. i am not sure why they chose a location so far from everything.

closed. say it aint so, i need my soul food fix but there is a sign on the door stating they are closed and moving soon to a new location. hopefully it wont be long to get up and running again.

we had heard the food was good here. good doesn't begin to cover it! the smothered pork hops are incredible. the side dishes aregreatand the pie is to die for. best restaurant meal we've had in ages. and the prices are very reasonable. highly recommend !

good news!!. heygreatnews everyone. it looks like willams soul food express has just moved and is renovating a new location in rogers!! i don't know the reopening date but the signs are up advertising coming soon.. the new address: 915 1/2 s 8th st, rogers, ar 72756 its connected to the "super 8" motel at 915 s. 8th can't wait

my wife just had the pecan pie. out of this world. crust was perfect very flacky. she would not share almost got a fork in my hand. a must try!!

incredible fried chicken. what a fun place. everyone who works here has agreatattitude and is very welcoming.
food is fresh and home cooked. some of the best fried chicken we have ever had. greens are amazing! cole slaw is outstanding.

place is small so you may have to wait but it is worth it. we will be back!

this food is above and beyond the other soul food restaurant in nwa. the staff is very welcoming. the sides are done right. the williams house burger hasgreatslaw on it, and i don't usually like slaw. personally, i am not a fan of the fried chicken. if you have only an hour lunch break, call in your order ahead so you will not be rushed in eating.

great food,greatpeople!. if you are you looking for somegreatfood, made from scratch like your mom or grandmom used to make, williams soul food is the place to dine. fried chicken - really good. we will be back!

great food...greatpeople. this food is excellent!! the fried chicken was so light and crispy, not greasy at all! the greens and the mac and cheese were home made, it was sooo good!! the williams family are good people and so nice!! you have to try this place!!!
