great food and good ambience, could improve on plating and food presentation but overall a good dining experience. parking is limited as with most restaurants in kapitolyo. serving size was leaning towards small, though it did not fail to deliver in terms of flavor. service was impeccable, we were seated outside but the servers were still easy to call and were very attentive.

we were just cruising around kapitolyo and i was really curious about this restaurant because it was kind of fancy from the outside, so we decided to give it a go. we were the only ones there for dinner on a sunday, and we thought that wasn’t a good sign, but the interiors of the place were quite hard to resist—it was earthy and cozy—so went ahead anyway. geez, thank god we did because this place was a revelation :) i’m not a big fan of indonesian food, and i have yet to try an indonesian restaurant that serves authentic indonesian cuisine, but this one comes close. it was also inexpensive too. we ordered their beef rendang and sate ayam and it was really good. the only thing i noticed is that they need to add a few more dishes. definitely worth a visit.

all i can say is this place is 5 out of 5.
food, people, the place - everything is very good.
the owners are also obviously very hands on. 100% great customer service.
i'll have another meal here the soonest.

this is a legit, authentic, indonesian food. we got the chance to talk to the owners because - man, they are super friendly and very hands on. they visited every guest that night and asked about their dining experience. we felt like we were their family friend invited over a nice dinner.

it has ample parking which is convenient as it’s a challenge getting a parking spot in kapitolyo. the place has a casual ambiance so it’s perfect for small reunions, etc. servers were friendly and accommodating with our questions (since our group wasn’t that familiar with indonesian cuisine). the food seems legit to me. however, i find the fried chicken a little too dry. loved the bakmi goreng! :)

let me get this out of the way... parking in kapitolyo sucks! but everything about this restaurant is amazing, love the fact that your eating in an old house while enjoying authentic indonesian cuisine. my favorite is the spicy grilled chicken and of course the rendang. i’m even salivating as i write this! the owner is very charming and engaging, she’s like that nice tita who cooks wonders!

one legit indonesian restaurant. had the chance to dine here following our bali trip because we were sepanxing from indonesian cuisine. didn’t disappoint! loved the interiors too!

⭕️ this is for people who can appreciate legit indonesian spice (they grow their own chilis!) also a good tita hangout.

❌ this is not for anyone expecting filipino-tasting food that could somehow resemble indonesian.

my sister and i were able to have our lunch consisting of nasi goreng, beef rendang, sate ayam, soto ayam and es cendol. we were very satisfied in visual and taste, pricing and table service. we're both happy campers. apologies for forgetting to take pictures of the food.

we ate at an indonesian restaurant for a change. this adorable restaurant located in pasig is one of our bucketlist. gave them a perfect five for really good food (worth every penny), excellent service (fast and helpful servers), and pleasant space. great for family gatherings and events.
feast meter:
🌟🌟🌟🌟 nasi goreng - good for sharing for two, flavorful
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 beef rendang - the spicyness was enough, big servings
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 sate ayam - highly recommended, yummy peanut sauce
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 tahu telur - tofu with veggies, healthy and fresh ingredients
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 es buah naga and nanas (dragonfruit and pineapple shake) - must try this!
we suggest a more spacious parking area 👭

absolutely loved the beef rendang. it had a kick of spice that was just right, didn't overpower the flavor at all.

their service was great too.

what a great find!! warung is not one of those restaurants you hear about often but dining here makes me wonder why not!

the restaurant is huge, nicely decorated, the staff very accommodating, and the food is simply delicious--at an incredibly affordable price too!

must tries here:
(1) martabak telur (though it only comes in a big serving, order it if you come here as a family)
(2) satay ayam (chicken in satay sauce)
(3) ikan bakar (grilled fish)
(4) gado-gado (vegetables in peanut dressing)

other tips:
1. they also have vegetarian options for all their using quorn!
2. the serving size of their desserts (e.g. es teler) is quite big and the dessert itself is quite sweet so i highly suggest that it's split among 2-3 people
3. you can have your martabak manis or tapos manis prepared with both cheese and chocolate, just ask!

never thought that indonesian food tastes this good!

fave picks are :

martabak telur! it's like a pancake of veggies! taste fresh and msg free. i can tell a great food if it is tasty without msg. natural flavors of the ingredients stand out!

bakmi goreng! i am biased with everything that has sunny side up egg on top! noodles are firm and not starchy!

tipis manis! the thin pancake with choco syrup sliding left and right of your plate? the joy of eating dessert. would love to try martabak manis, that famous versino with special filling! can't wait to go back!

es teler! it's like the indonesian version of bing su! i love how the ice is so fine and smooth. the sweetness is just right and i like the aroma of the langka!

interiors: very spacious, homey, clean and comfortable. different levels to accommodate private dining!

exterior: we love taking photos of the main door/gate! intricate wood carvings! love the lanai dining area surrounded by plants!

having been tasted indo food already and as i compared to an authentic indo food, the taste of their beef rendang, gado-gado, nasi goreng, bakmi goreng and the es telur are the same and can describe it as "the taste of indo" like the dapoer kita, betawi and java padang cafe of dubai... unfortunately, there's no karedok being served as of now. i would deifintely come back again since i loved the ambience and the warm greetings of all staffs. terimah kasih kabayans.

warung is one of my default recos for restos around kapitolyo, primarily because of ambiance and value for money.

it's a beautiful restaurant. warung was built in what looks like what used to be a big, semi-fancy home. it's spacious with bright lighting and high ceilings. it has a very homey feel to it, amplified by the welcoming and polite staff. the service is great, too.

it can be pretty intimidating - a fancy-looking resto in the middle of kapitolyo can only be expensive. but surprise, surprise: it's not.

you can get delicious meals from only 150 to 300 pesos. and they're not even skimping on the flavor with price this low. there's also plenty to choose from in their menu, they'll give you a hard time choosing.

for vegetables, i suggest you try their gado-gado. and of course, indonesian food hits like nasi goreng, bakmi goreng, and sate ayam.

they're all very flavorful and authentically cooked. a warning tho: they're all on the heavy side so try not too order too much. you should also try their martabak for dessert.

overall, it's one of the few restaurants in kapitolyo that really offer good value for your money. it's great for meetings and dates - the good food and fancy ambiance will defi help you make a good impression. but for people like me who likes to work anywhere but inside an office, it's a great place too. quiet and cozy.
