best pizza in kc. this is hands down the best pizza in kc. the crust isthinand crispy and the toppings are so fresh tasting. the waitstaff is friendly and efficient. no more pizza hut for me.

best of the best pizza here!. we go here over and over, we can accommodate all our tastes and dietary needs. love the gluten free pizza and soy cheese choices because of that but we go there most of all for the taste--if you don't have to get gluten free, i recommend thethincrust pizza and get it straight from the oven, not delivery or pickup.

the pizza was great. the toppings you have to choose from was incredible. loved thethincrust. i have tried both places, in waldo and lee's summit. both are great.

a poor lunch buffet value. i ordered the lunch buffet with a drink at 11 am for $11.35 (including tax, and before tip) at the table. the salad bar was stocked with many fresh, healthy choices. the pizza bar offered several pizzas, mac & cheese, and a dessert pizza, and there were no lines. the pizza was somewhat over-cooked, and thethincrust was moist, and rubbery, not crisp, and flaky (which i prefer). the mac & cheese was very good. the service was attentive, and somewhat friendly. the interior was clean, had good ambiance, and pleasant music was playing. my value-adjusted rating is just 6.0/10.0.

disappointing. don't understand all the doting reviews. this place struggles to achieve averageness. we paid $5 for delivery (very nearby the location) and got sorta-warm pizzas. thethincrust was insipid, rather than crispy as advertised. the honey-wheat crust was fine, but not worth advertizing as different from any other "traditional" dough (not thick, not thin, not interesting in any way). too little sauce, waaaaay too much cheese, and a ton of grease made a barely adequate meal for us. the breadsticks *had* to be pulled right out of a package from the grocery store; they were dense, dry, and cold.

delicious, we plan to go back again very soon. we got athincrust with alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, bacon and red peppers and it was delish.

unique, genuine pizza. burnt ends and cream cheese on athincrust pizza... oh my god! this is my number one indulgence and i wake up at night sometimes craving this pizza. it is by far some of the best pizza i've ever had, and i don't say that lightly - i love a good slice of pizza :) anyone, anywhere go to waldo pizza and enjoy, and do try burnt ends and cream cheese. it's an odd combo my friend made up but it will not disappoint!!

worth driving for.. we live in platte county and have no problem driving to waldo pizza. if we're hungry, we get the the waldo combo, a great st. louis style pizza and if we want a light lunch, we get the salad bar and cheese crusts - athinpizza crust with a nicethinlayer of melted cheese.

kc's best. this is the mother of all pizza places in kansas city. i love theirthincrust and delicious toppings. the bar is always a great place to start and you have a lot of options when it comes to beer on tap. i love that they have free state ad astra. i think the wait is that of a normal restaurant, and the staff are always friendly and upbeat. i love this place as a hang out to drink or eat, or both.

awesome pizza. this is one of my favorite pizza places of all time. thethincrust pizza is amazing! one of the restaurants that i have missed since i no longer live in the area.

high expectations met. waldo pizza not only delivers a pie worthy of their legendary reputation, but also does so with an ambiance that really completes the overall experience. the overall feeling is 'easy going' with a wait staff that moves like their happy to be there. ordered two pies with the traditional hand-tossed and the st. louisthincrusts and was very pleased on not only how delicious each crust was, but how different they were between themselves. i can easily see how so many enjoy this location and are willing to wait the time to be seated. as the sign states, it really is worth it!

simply the best. the st. louis stylethincrust pizza is out of this world; it features a kiss of garlic butter, their sweet sauce and has a crisp texture that really brings out the toppings. my mom, who lives in st. louis, has to go get a st. louis style pizza every time she visits. other great st. louis staples like toasted ravioli, ted drewes frozen custard and warm gooey butter cake are also well worth the calories.

the other crusts are also very good and perfectly prepared. they also have gluten-free crust and will make a vegan pizza if you ask. they have a wide variety of traditional and unique toppings (toasted almonds, meatballs, roasted potatoes, stinky cheese) to make your perfect pizza.

the beer selection is really fantastic too; they currently have a cicerone (a certified beer expert or sommelier) on staff. he makes great selections and can often recommend the perfect beer companion for your mood or tastes.

as the best pizza in town, there are often long waits and parking nightmares on the weekends (and lots of poorly behaved children). go later in the evening if you don't care for kids; or call well in advance for carryout or delivery. weekday evenings are also good times to dine-in and they frequently have good specials.

can't believe it took me so long to find it. there are really so many great pizza restaurants in town (depending on your mood that night) that i can't believe it took me so long to discover this gem! definately a favorite-but i do have lots of favorites in the pizza category, which is good because the type of pizza you have a craving for is always important. love theirthincrust st. louis style with just about any topping (except anchovies-anchovies are for salad/appetizers not pizza-in my humble opinion!)

yummy pizza!. try thethincrust with alredo sauce, spinach, roasted garlic and roasted chicken topped with asiago cheese! yum yum!
