i work at a local college, and we order from this place a lot. it is always very good, and the place has great management and customer service.

finally got to stop by to eat some pizza in the store tonight, and it was even better. three distinctcrustoptions are nice, and the sauce and cheese were solid. they do not skimp on toppings, and the service was great too. more topping options than most places. highly recommend this place.

best of the best pizza here!. we go here over and over, we can accommodate all our tastes and dietary needs. love the gluten free pizza and soy cheese choices because of that but we go there most of all for the taste--if you don't have to get gluten free, i recommend the thincrustpizza and get it straight from the oven, not delivery or pickup.

a poor lunch buffet value. i ordered the lunch buffet with a drink at 11 am for $11.35 (including tax, and before tip) at the table. the salad bar was stocked with many fresh, healthy choices. the pizza bar offered several pizzas, mac & cheese, and a dessert pizza, and there were no lines. the pizza was somewhat over-cooked, and the thincrustwas moist, and rubbery, not crisp, and flaky (which i prefer). the mac & cheese was very good. the service was attentive, and somewhat friendly. the interior was clean, had good ambiance, and pleasant music was playing. my value-adjusted rating is just 6.0/10.0.

disappointing. don't understand all the doting reviews. this place struggles to achieve averageness. we paid $5 for delivery (very nearby the location) and got sorta-warm pizzas. the thincrustwas insipid, rather than crispy as advertised. the honey-wheatcrustwas fine, but not worth advertizing as different from any other "traditional" dough (not thick, not thin, not interesting in any way). too little sauce, waaaaay too much cheese, and a ton of grease made a barely adequate meal for us. the breadsticks *had* to be pulled right out of a package from the grocery store; they were dense, dry, and cold.

unique, genuine pizza. burnt ends and cream cheese on a thincrustpizza... oh my god! this is my number one indulgence and i wake up at night sometimes craving this pizza. it is by far some of the best pizza i've ever had, and i don't say that lightly - i love a good slice of pizza :) anyone, anywhere go to waldo pizza and enjoy, and do try burnt ends and cream cheese. it's an odd combo my friend made up but it will not disappoint!!

worth driving for.. we live in platte county and have no problem driving to waldo pizza. if we're hungry, we get the the waldo combo, a great st. louis style pizza and if we want a light lunch, we get the salad bar and cheese crusts - a thin pizzacrustwith a nice thin layer of melted cheese.

unbelievable experience. had to wait, but fresh pepperoni rolls pass around to hold your interest. grab a beer, and they don't charge, just ask you to tell your waiter once you're seated. about 25 beers on tap and they offer a flight of 4 5oz beers for $5. oh, and the honey wheatcrustpizza was perfect. fresh sauce, toppings, and creamy cheese. will be back often when in kc! loved every second of the experience.

yum!. best pizza in the city. won't be as cheap as a major chain, but it's fresh and delicious. you know how some places you skip out on the crust? you won't here. a great variety of toppings andcruststyles to choose from, and the service is excellent when dining in.

kc's best. this is the mother of all pizza places in kansas city. i love their thincrustand delicious toppings. the bar is always a great place to start and you have a lot of options when it comes to beer on tap. i love that they have free state ad astra. i think the wait is that of a normal restaurant, and the staff are always friendly and upbeat. i love this place as a hang out to drink or eat, or both.

finally tried waldo pizza.. when you walk in the front door you are greeted by a very nice aroma of cooking pizza and a friendly hostess. we ordered the st. louis style pizza touted as an extra thin, crispycrustglazed with garlic butter and a light touch of sauce with a blend of mozzarella, provolone, swiss and cheddar cheeses. ours was half pepperoni, half canadian bacon & artichoke for $15.35 (see image). it was okay, its flavor reminded me of imo's pizza. we also had an order of toasted ravioli with house made marinara for $3.95. the marinara had a good flavor, but was very thin, not chunky like most. i also prefer mine to be less sweet and have more garlic and basil (just my preference). at any rate, we gobbled them up (there were 10), so i would order these again. we also ordered one small side salad $1.99, two sodas and two beers. the total order came to $36.47. it's a comfortable place and we each ran into several people that we knew. i want to come back and try their hand tossed and honey wheat crusts. this place is definitely worth a try if you haven't been here, however, d'bronx is still my favorite pizza in town.

high expectations met. waldo pizza not only delivers a pie worthy of their legendary reputation, but also does so with an ambiance that really completes the overall experience. the overall feeling is 'easy going' with a wait staff that moves like their happy to be there. ordered two pies with the traditional hand-tossed and the st. louis thin crusts and was very pleased on not only how delicious eachcrustwas, but how different they were between themselves. i can easily see how so many enjoy this location and are willing to wait the time to be seated. as the sign states, it really is worth it!
