waldhaus? ja!. we only get to banff for dinner about once a year, but when we get the chance, we like to have a fondue at the waldhaus. pleasant alpine atmosphere, with a courteous and efficient staff. small size means you get your food quickly and hot. winelist is not huge, but makes it easy to get agoodmatch to the cuisine. dinner for 2 was ~$150, all in, comprising the swiss (cheese, bread, veggies) fondue and optional meat side dish. top it with apfelstrudel, if you left room for it.
