utterly forgetable. well, we thought this was going to be our go toplaceon 30a (see last review). fast forward 4 months. wow. this simply was one of the worst dining experiences in the 15 years we have been coming/living on 30a. we sent back a simple filet 3 times (we never send food back but how hard is it to make a grilled fillet with nothing on it?). my lobster ravioli was so bad it was unedible. in fact it was so bad that i can't believe it left the kitchen. doughy, amporphous, lobster puree, and smothered in a cold sauce and then covered will balsamic vinegar. the standard fruit de mer was completely different than jan and essentially covered in oil. it was ok (and the risotto was actually perfectly done) but what a let down. the wine list has changed and is sectioned into wine "styles". worthless for any foodie. the wine list is simple and our cnp was reasonably priced and probably saved the meal. i am not sure how aplacecould change so much in 4 months, but i would stay away, even with the amazing view thisplacehas. go for drinks. we thought the new manager would make it superb, but even with a moderate crowd it didnt pass even the simplest tests of foodie 101.

whoa.. ate there for the first time after hitting everyplaceon 30a over the last 10 years. unbelievable. the food was amazing, including an extensive gluten-free menu and eclectic wine list. the seafood risotto misto and pistachio grouper were perfect and the martinis were spot-on! ambiance was wicked and the view...nuff said...it's in the name. hopefully with new manager brooke this becomes our "fish" replacement on 30a.
