voodoo bbq & grill

don't miss it!. ifvoodoois as good today as when we visited in '04, you don't want to miss it. the ribs met my four criteria 1. tender fall off the bone 2. not too dry/jerky like 3. not too fatty 4. flavorful/complex with smoky aftertaste.
the corn pudding is soooo good it's diabolical. the greens are excellent, and the other sides were also great. the staff were so friendly we felt right at home immediately- especially sista' michelle joseph- what a great lady! i still have thevoodoot-shirt. thanks for a great experience!

afterwards it was time for more food – we all piled intovoodoobbq, cold, wet, but happy. i had a big plate of slow cooked brisket, pulled pork, corn pudding, collard greens and garlic toast.

not worth your time. a few friends and i were in new orleans for a about a week and our hotel concierge recommendedvoodooas a pretty good place to grab some food.....
upon arrival, our group of 8 people was split up into two groups of 4, and we sat on opposite sides of the restaurant from each other. once we had ordered, it took over an hour to get our meals. the pulled pork was delicious, and the side items also tasted fine. but once we had finished our meal, we walked to our friends table (the other portion of our party that the hostess had split apart) and they had not even received their drink orders!!!!!!!

this really pissed our group off... we had waited for a total of an hour and a half for just their drink orders!!! the waitress did not care to serve them when we had mentioned how long we had waited....
once their food had arrived and and my friends had finished eating, we had spent 3.5 hours at the restaurant. completely absurd. will never return-highly recommend you don't either!

excellent food. i tried 2voodoocombos with my friends (4 in total) and we got satisfied. it was delicious. the staff was very helpful and friendly. two thumbs up !!!

good food. real friendly. my son and i stopped in here on an overnight layover in nola. it was late and we got in just prior to closing but they stayed open and didn't rush us! i had thevoodooburger and i think nick had a po boy. both were over the top!

have you tried the greens?. they are friggin awesome!!! i visitvoodooon the regular and love everything! my favorite combonations are:
1/4 bbq chix with greens and corn pudding! or if you get a burger add a side of beans and dip your fries in them yum yum yum! all of their food is truly amazing! id eat there every day if i could afford it! and their sweet tea is to die for!!!!!!
