the response on instagram from julia madge was passive aggressive and rude when the £100 minimumbookingfee was questioned. after saying the bar had been “hung dry” due to lockdown which i’m completely sympathetic to, but how incredibly ignorant to assume that everyone is in a financial situation to pay them £100 for one bottle of vodka. then claiming that that’s a reasonable price insinuating that it’s embarrassing i can’t pay it. booked several places in ashton lane and the west end with the maximumbookingfee being £5. being passive aggressive to customers on your social media is uncalled for when they were having a joke with their friend about going to the park and getting steaming anyways instead. everyone has been through it this lockdown, especially financially so it’s a shame julia had to be so rude.
