omg!! the best absolute dining i've ever experienced, everything about the place was oh so fabulous, the food was amazing and had such a friendly staff!! i loved that waiter with the earrings who kept showing up to our table to accompany us with a fabulous smile my gosh he is so cute!! i wish i knew more about the fellow.vinoyou deserve an a+

best restaurant in birmingham.vinois hands down my favorite restaurant in birmingham. the restaurant offers lay back, romantic patio seating under beautifully lit trees as well as inside seating the wine menu is extensive, but the martinis are exceptional, especially the mango martini. the health conscious menu varies from fresh sea scallops and grouper to tender lamb shanks. the capellinivinois my favorite entree. the apple fritters with ice cream are a must to finish with.

enjoyed drinks and appetizers atvinolast night. we sat outside on the patio and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. enjoyed a nice glass of rose and the cheese plate. i will admit that i've had better cheese selections but the atmosphere along with the service is why i rated so highly.

in front, we went there for our drinks. we had the best hand crafted cocktails
in birmingham. couple of our girls fell in love with our very polite but
friendly bartender. we then walked to the back of the building for dinner at
vino which was fabulous. this place tucked away in english village is awesome.
such a nice atmosphere, along with the best service, reasonable prices and a
nice varied menu is truly amazing and it’s a must to take out of town visitors
there. our sea scallops, fresh gulf red grouper, lamb ….were all outstanding.
our apple fritters and tiramisu were to die for. we found our fav in
birmingham.

chic little hangout with great food and drinks. i have been tovinoseveral times, and it was amazing. their menu is diverse and well presented. if you are looking for a chic little hangout for you and your friends in a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere, this is the perfect little spot for you! be sure to ask alex hunt if you need any direction about wine selection.

outstanding!!!. we went tovinowhile on a business trip and left very happy. a true gem in birmingham!! i had the lamb and apple fritters with ice cream-it was amazing. will definitely return.

english village diner. we’re regulars—love vino!
we're within walking distance of vino--and we stroll there at least twice a week for the atmosphere--a starry setting under trees strewn with tiny lights---and the food. we tend toward salmon and grouper dishes but have eaten just about everything on the menu. a appetizer of hummus and spinach dip with pita starts us out as does a bottle from the good wine list (after all, it is called vino). seating options include inside--white and ultra-modern; a bar area with full service and a tv with whatever sporting event du jour is on; and, our favorite place, outside under the canopy of trees and sky. being locals, we often see friends and spend lingering evenings though when we require quick service, food comes hot and fast. one chilly early spring evening our server supplied furry blankets so we could stay outdoors and savor the season (and our meal). sometimesvinosends us home with a little bag of sweets. it’s personifies what local and personal is all about. we count this among our favorites in a city that offers many great options.

romantic!. such romantic ambiance! we wished we had ventured there sooner.vinohas the most beautiful patio and interior, sharing space with an art gallery and tucked into english village. the hostess and servers were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly--a real plus. we were seated at an open sliding door, a great spot! delicious mediterranean quisine. we shared a plate of hummus and spinach dip, followed by salmon and a filet, all with a lovely presentation. my salmon was accompanied by asparagus, and a caprese salad, stacked beautifully. my husband's filet was perfect.
i must say that everyone there seemed to be having a great night, as were we!

our favorite. we feel so lucky living near some of the country's top restaurants. we frequentvinoevery chance that we get. the atmosphere, the service and the food are all outstanding. one of our favorites is mediterranean " salmon farfella" which has very little pasta but makes up for it with spinach leaves and large chunks of roasted salmon. we have worked our way through the dessert menu and have been very happy. the portions are perfect and food delicious but on the healthy side.vinois unquestionably a very nice destination for a perfect veining.

a great place. we over heard people on the next seat talking aboutvinoheading to birmingham for a business trip. after all the good things we heard we headed there next night for dinner.vinois tucked away in the cute english village of mountain brook. the ambiance, a beautiful patio, a very chic and modern inside and a very warm greeting by their staff got us very excited from the start. the food is simply amazing. my roased grouper and fennel tossed with lots of grap and spinach leaves in a very lite white wine lemon sauce was awesome. we had their famouse apple fritters and after a very nice and relaxing evining left vinot with lots of great memories. we definately recommand this romantic restaurant.

visited vino's tonight for a guy friend's birthday. ambiance is very intimate. i ordered the cappelinivinoand it was delicious. my friend had the stuffed pork tenderloin. he enjoyed his dish as well. overall, we had a great evening. next time i want to sit out on the patio when it's warmer.

awesome!.vinois a sexy restaurant, with a great outdoor dining patio. the perfect place to go for a date... sexy atmosphere, no over-filling entrees, friendly staff, and the tables are spaced well, so you don't feel like you're on top of another table.

i ordered the eggplant chicken capellini, and it was over-the-top. the angel hair was cooked perfectly as well. my wife ordered the special, seared scallops and shrimp, and the seafood came out flawless. the panisse side is great... must try.

well done, vino!... will definitely be back soon to enjoy the outdoor patio before the cool weather sets in.

four of us dined atvinolast night. because of the heat we decided on inside. the place is small but very modern and clean looking. our server was well trained. two of us had their featured mango martinis with fresh mangoes muddled and they were very tasty. i had the pan seared grouper with moroccan couscous and grilled summer veggies ... it was delicious. everyone in our group enjoyed their entrees, we were very impressed. definitely recommend, we will surely be going back soon

my fav restaurant/spot.vinoby far is my new fave restaurant/wine bar. from modern chic to amazing food and professional and friendly staff. very cool atmosphere and very relaxing place.
