i meant to have new year eve celebration here last year but the booking has been cancelled for some reason.
i arranged to have adinnerwith my daughter here on last friday.
venue was good and service was attentive.
we ordered the seared scallop and octopus for entrees. scallop was very fresh. the chargrilled octopus was my favorite, which was done with balanced taste. both entree plating were good. next came the mains of quail and rigatoni. quail was tenderized and the purée done with chestnut and pistachio matched the dish well. pasta dish was al dente. hero should be the dose dish of greens. the chef really knows how to cook vegetables.
at the end, we ordered buffalo blue and pecorino manchego to go with coffee for the full stop of this dinner.

came here for a lovelydinnerwith my husband. we ordered the 3 course degustation which was fabulous. the service was a little on the slow side for our table. we had a group of 4 as well as another couple arrive about 10-15 mins after us and both tables would either get their drinks or meals served before us. however we weren't too bothered by it.
our meals were absolutely delicious!! the calamari was soft paired with the beautiful chickpea puree. the ravioli in the ragu was amazing and the slow cooked lamb was so soft, melt in your mouth and coated is such a yummy sauce. we bypassed on dessert as we were too full!
when we got the bill, the degustation was overcharged for some reason- was $69 pp on the menu but we got charged $75. we spoke to the waitress about it but, again, we didn't mind as we were tipping anyway and it would have just been a smaller tip. we will be back!

enjoyed a lovelydinnerhere at vine. the partner and i shared a salumi plate which included beautiful melt-in-the-mouth pan fried chorizo, soft and silky prosciutto, salami, pickled vegetables, buffalo mozzerella and toasted crusty bread. all were lovely but we both particularly liked the chorizo. for mains we had the seafood taglietelle and the wild boar rigatoni. i had the seafood - the pasta was silky and fresh, there was enough of the mussels, prawns and scallops. the tomato based was nicely seasoned. really enjoyed it. we didn't have room for dessert unfortunately. our waitress was pleasant and attentive. i look forward to going again!

had a romanticdinnerhere for my wife's birthday mid week and it was faultless from beginning to end. had the risotto for an entree and the pappardelle for a main both of which were superb. the staff assisted us choose an excellent italian red which was decanted and treated as good wine should. for dessert i went for the tiramisu which had perfectly balanced flavours. i would thoroughly recommend this place and we can't wait to go back.

had the most deliciousdinnerthere tonight, entree and main were both filled with delightful freshness and flavor. we enjoyed the food so much! and staff were wonderfully friendly ! will definitely go back again, and again :) currently my favorite restaurant in brisbane !

my husband and i enjoyed a really nice breakfast at vine on the weekend. food was nice, service was excellent and the coffee tasted great. i had the eggs and avocado and my husband had the haloumi fritters. i would definitely come back :-) i'd love to try theirdinnermenu!

poor in any aspect. we went to this restaurant for a quickdinneron march 6,2015.
after being seated, we received the menu and i could not stop wondering about another customer who was seated in my direct view on another table.
he played around with a veal (?) chop cut it into little bits and just kept moving it on the plate without eating even 1/2 of it.
i guess that he did not want to draw attention to his dish to the other 3 guests joining him.

we ordered a seafood pasta dish - pasta was undercooked ( not to be confused with al dente ) and an aged beef filet steak in 'medium rare' with sauce béarnaise.
aged beef was not trimmed before being seared, cooked 'medium well' to 'well done' and came with a hollandaise sauce.
after i sent the beef back and opted not to re-order it, i was questioned loudly by the owner (?) who stated that - in his opinion - the steak had been prepared perfectly.
we were advised to 'not come back' by this person after we paid the bill ....
i can only recommend to the above mentioned person to try any average restaurant in hong kong ( where we live ). he might be in for a very big surprise and a wake up call.

amazing. first time diners and we loved it. i had planned a special suprisedinnerfor our anniversary and dropped off the gift a few days prior to dining there so it could be on the table when we arrive. when we arrived everything was perfect and my wife was holding back the tears of happiness. it was the 'magic' start to the night i was hoping for. thanks to all the staff at vine.

andy osment. fantastic place..i was there fordinnerwith my partner last nite and were visiting from melbourne.highly recommend this place for the following reasons...lovely staff that make you feel so welcome and special..the service is impeccable..very attentive and friendly without being over the top. we had two entree!s and a main and shared a dessert.u are able to byo which we did and the drink waitress even decantered an aged red wine..the ambience is stylish...it is cosy,warm,an excellent vibe..we were just "two of us "and it was nice and intimate, but there were larger groups equally enjoying this lovely restaurant.the food is great and beautifully presented. i wouldn't hesitate to take my family and friends there for a great nite out well done vine

spectacular!. we haddinnerat vine a few weeks ago and try as i may i cannot think of a single thing to fault them on. we had a full three course meal and every dish was just superb. the wine selection was a plethora of great choices including some sensational italians, as you would expect. the ambiance was also thoroughly enjoyable, intimate enough for the two of us but still lively and engrossing. the star performer of the night was the service. intelligent and attentive we never lacked for an immediate response or insightful advice. i would recommend them wholeheartedly any day of the week.

beautiful selection of reds and white wine from the bar. gnocchi was perfect topped off with a delicious and generous serving of tiramisu for dessert! will definitely return fordinneragain. excellent service with a romantic atmosphere.

i have been to vine a couple of times for breakfast and once fordinnerand i loved it!
you can't go past the haloumi, corn and zucchini fritters for breakkie :) the coffee is good and the juices, although a little slow, are worth the wait.
theirdinnermenu is one of the few i've seen where i was literally spoilt for choice. i found it hard to choose between about 4 entrees and all of the mains but i eventually settled for the gnudi followed by the venison, both of which were to die for!
i can't wait to go back again and test out the rest of the menu :)

delicious. we haddinnerhere to celebrate a birthday. the service was excellent, everything that you could ask for. the food, just delightful - the homemade pasta was silky and scrumptious, and the fish was cooked in such a delicate broth. they were so hospitable and the food so yum, we had such an enjoyable time. have recommended to friends who visited and they also enjoyed theirdinnerexperience immensely.

a *** for service and food. getting good service in brisbane is somewhat like finding a needle in a haystack, but vine in new farm bucks the trend. often passed over for "more trendy options", this merthyr road venue is probably one of farm's best. i have no idea why people crowd the joint next door for horrific food and service when there's a friendly smile awaiting at vine.
the space and the menus have undergone an overhaul but thankfully the service remains its old, good self. the brekkie menu is wide and interesting.dinner- not cheap - but the quality would take on any big cbd contender. there's an intimate bar and quiet dining nooks. the only complaint i have is that it might mean new people crowding one of my favourite spots. ps you like real italian style coffee - then get to vine.

best italian restaurant in brisbane. i went here for a familydinner(in which we all had 3 courses).

all meals were amazing. rich flavors, cooked to perfection and with only a moderate wait time.

our waiter was lovely, knowledgeable and well presented. the place is run by authentic italians and well worth heading in for a meal.

i will be back!
