this is a sparkling jewel in a food town. agree that the manager is a real pro... handled a delicate problem with a patron perfectly. the fresh bread is outstanding...baked on site (but you must ask for it). i'm normally not a huge salad fan, but the taco salad (it has a catchier name on the menu) was very good!! my wife had the green chili stew. we've had gcs all over sf, but never better than this!! finally, we shared a large piece of carrot cake....again, as good as i've had (and i know my carrot cake). the only problem w/ this little gem is lack of space...inside and in theparkinglot. oh well, the food is worth it!
