excellent!. i read about vinaigrette in the santa fe magazine and decided to give it a chance. we love to eat as fresh and healthy as possible and are always on the lookout for new restaurants to try. our waiter was helpful, the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. we started with the artichoke soup of the day, i had the cobb salad and my partner has the tuna salad with the seared fresh tuna steak. his tuna was cooked to perfection. both salads were excellent! to end our meal we ordered a slice of apple pie with the homemade vanilla ice cream-- what a treat! i am glad i caught the story on this restaurant and tried it because we will definitely be going back.

definitely a ladies' luncheon place, but still worth a visit. one of the creative salads and a glass of white wine will carry you through the afternoon.

kind of a whole in the wall place. you can't see it from the roadside, but it has a very cute atmosphere and even has seating outside. tons of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from.

delightful place with lots of vegetables. well lit space with fresh meals that are both healthy and filling. parking can be problematic but it is all worth it.

twice we've gone with co-workers during our lunch our, even getting there early to avoid any crowd. the first time we arrived around 11:30 and didn't get out of there until 1 pm. we had to apologize to our boss for having a lunch over 1 hour. this second time however, was absolutely unacceptable in terms of service, quality, attentiveness, management, and time. we went on monday june 13 for our manager's birthday. we arrived at 11:45 and were seated quickly by a young female employee. over 20 minutes later, she asked if we wanted anything to drink. we asked for water and it took another 10 minutes for water to arrive. another 15 minutes pass before she checks our table again to take our orders. over 45 minutes have passed, we each order 5 of us total. one cuban, two of the special salads, and two of their regular salads. around 12:30 we ask for bread and water refills, still not having good service. we got our cups slightly refilled exactly this one time. around 12:45 our food arrives, but our co-worker who ordered the pear salad special, does not get hers. she waited an additional 10-15 minutes to get her salad that they forgot. our waitress doesn't apologize, nobody from management comes to check on us, nothing. other tables that were seated after us had their food well before ours. we finally all have our food and eat quickly, because we were only supposed to be gone 1 hour, even with our manager with us. we work for the state and have very strict 1 hour lunch policies. we got our check and never saw our waitress again, to even take payment. my co-worker whose salad was the late one, got up to talk to a manager. she was rude to us and wouldn't consider removing any items or even apologize. we paid our full price meal of $75 and left. needless to say, we will not be going back, nor will any other members of an entire office building. service needs a huge improvement. it should not take from 12:45-1:45 to dine in and have a salad.

awful service, just okay food. i was really excited to try this place out for a nice dinner after seeing the fabulous reviews, but was extremely disappointed. where to start...? the service was absolutely terrible. took forever to get refills, the appetizer came 30 seconds before the food (after a 25 minute wait for salads and sandwiches...), they ran out of bread, the "chickpeas three ways" only came two ways and it took forever to get the check. it seemed to be more like a "lunch place," but i'm not sure who has the time to eat here for lunch! my sandwich had obviously been sitting under a warmer for a while, as the bottom bread was quite soggy and i found it very overpriced for the food received. i do appreciate farm to table restaurants and enjoy them as often as possible, but even that did not make up for the experience.

amazing salad. i went for lunch at 11:30, and the place was already filling up. parking was more than difficult. the restaurant was very pretty, food was wonderful and the value was good. i wish there were a few more wait staff. our waiter was stressed and i think he might have been the only one, with 2 bussers.
i will go again and be more prepared.

first visit was for lunch at 1:30 pm-finding a parking place was difficult. somewhat loud & noisy; so don't go if you want a quiet lunch. excellent food, but on the pricey side. greek salad with grilled shrimp was $17.95. two salads and one beer with 20% tip was $42. i will go back again. this is warm weather fare, not somewhere to go in the dead of the winter.

i've been to this place three times and at first i really liked it. i thought that abq had finally got a great place that served soup and salad past 2pm. the decor was beautiful and the staff was friendly. however, i have had to change my vote to dislike for a few reasons. first is the staff. they are rude and don't want to answer questions. they are also not accommodating and act as though the cooks have this terribly hard job to do. none if their meals need to be cooked to order; doesn't seem that hard! the second is that when a salad came out to me with a rotten avocado on it, i asked the server for a new one. you would have thought i had asked for her first born child! if i'm going to pay those prices for salad and soup, which i will if its worth it, they better treat me right. wake up vinaigrette!

fantastic food, superb service!. our company recently held a corporate retreat in the santa fe area, and had been told about vinaigrette from one of our senior staff members as a possible caterer for the event. to put it simply, she was spot on and we were all very impressed! the owner was extremely accommodating to our needs and particular tastes. the entrees are fresh, inviting, and honestly priced! if you have a business luncheon or other professional event, or if you're just looking for some amazing cuisine options, we highly recommend choosing vinaigrette. they are truly a cut above the rest!

in her restaurant vinaigrette, erin wade makes the best salads in santa fe. i was intrigued by the assignment to photograph los portales, the nambe farm where wade lives and grows a significant portion of the ingredients in her signature salads. plus: she has pigs. glorious, muddy, grinning, grunting pigs. confession: i’ve always wanted to meet a pig. but not only where there pigs – wade’s farm is an inspiration to local backyard gardeners – a vivid illustration in just how lush the high desert can be.
