delicious. we started with a wood fired bead and olive oil for dipping. hot and crispy with a slightly soft chewy middle. i had the fettucini alfredo with blackened chicken. the alfredosaucewas very well done and the fettucini was perfectly cooked. my mom had the pork oso bucco on a bed of polenta with a madera sauce. tender falling off the bone. they had a happy hour so our drinks were discounted as well. i want to go back for my birthday... its birthday worthy!

disappointed. wasn't to happy with the staff. the table right in front of the door is not a good spot for a table. your hostess could use a little more customer service skills and at least act like she wants/likes her job. my glass of water still had sticky soda left on it. i told the waiter he took the glass and never returned with a new one. we barely even seen our server. was never told of the daily specials and didn't even see the sign. maybe they are weekly not daily? food was bland and i barely had anysauceon my linguine. our meatball appetizer had moresauceand that was for six maybe seven tiny one bite meatballs. the bowl was all sauce. i shoulda kept the bowl for my linguine. nothing like the pics you show. the drinks were good from the bar. i'd go back for that but not the food. this was the plaza palomino location. dove mountain may be different or maybe we went on a bad night. no clue. but first impressions are lasting impressions.

so delicious!!. this was my boyfriend and i first time at the new temporary location. as foodies we had high expectations and they were blown away. the waitstaff all the way around was amazing, prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very service orientated. we had the calamari which was nice lightly breaded and very tasty, but thesaucewas spectacular the wasabi ranch was just zingy enough, we ordered more just to put on the pizza! the pizza itself was delicious thesaucewas flavorful and crust was light. i am normally not a dessert person but greg (our fantastic waiter) suggested the white chocolate cherry gelato with our panna cotta, the best flavor combination of the evening!! it was light and creamy, the gelato was flavorful without being sugary. we will definitely be a repeat customer!! the atmosphere was nice, very clean, slightly industrial, great music selection and not too loud, and the tables were not cramped together.

stick with the pizza. on past occasions we enjoyed the margherita pizza with fresh basil and the split caesar salad.

we went for a 7:30pm friday dinner expecting excellence. boy, were we disappointed.

the caesar salad was tasty as always.

the ravioli was mediocre at best, swimming in sauce, and thesaucetasted of too many dried herbs. three cheese ravs and three not very crabby crab ravs.

the lasagna arrived at the table piping hot with much melted cheese in a sea of sauce, little pasta and much chewy meats. on the first bite i realized that this is just another wannabe italian meal. tasting like all the other restaurants where the chef thinks oregano should dominate the flavors.

who is doing the taste testing?---surely they are not italians.

the antonio sanguinetti super tuscan was fabulous and my wife enjoyed the zonin prosecco.

service was attentive, alert and friendly.

summary---we both could not wait to get home and brush our teeth.

friday night at vero amore. friday evening we went to vero amore with friends. we waited outside for about ten minutes and were then seated. our server was prompt and attentive. water with lemon arrived quckly. then came the bottle of wine and then the antipasto platter which was shared by the four of us. we ordered several pizza margheritas. it was good pizza, thin crust and fine blending of ingredients. the ambience was smooth and subtle.
