just alright!. visiting st. pete, read reviews and they were glowing so went early on a friday with our parents who live locally. they open at 4:00 we came at 5:00. first impression they were not ready for dinner guests. unorganized, no hostess, one of the gentlemen who was by pizza ovens took us to middle of dining room and was gone. we finally asked a woman cutting flowers for the tables where to sit. anywhere was the response. then of course the debate was who was going to wait on us, we got a young man and
he was very attentive. obviously it is family owned as their were small children running near customers tables, wicker basket on their heads, yes cute, but i had the evening to be out without my children, i was paying for a nice meal, this just doesn't seem appropriate. overall food was good, service good, but of all the places i tried this past four days this was the most disappointing! i would not go back and was unhappy i asked family to meet us here.

homey and good. excellent service good sized portions homemade bread and sometimes the pasta. linguine and white clam sauce or red was superb. moderately priced a real good choice!!!

not like! love! if you're looking for authentic italian food, your search is over! it's a great place for tourists who want a better than home-cooked meal while away from home. and for locals, this place gives comfort food a whole new meaning! cozy, clean & comfortable, yet you get a taste of italy everytime you go! and the pizza!!! to say i know good pizza is an understatement and this pizza, if you know good pizza, hands down, the best! stay around for a long time, verducci trattoria!!

amazing!!!!. my dad was in town visiting and craving italian. i had just moved to st pete about a week earlier so i didn't know much. i do happen to work right near gigi's on 4th st and have not heard good things about it (aka overpriced, so-so) so i asked a client if she knew a place and she said that we had to go to st pete beach and try it.
it was one of the best italian dinners either of us have ever had (and we are both italian and from new york). great little place with a lot of charm. bread was to die for. salad and dressing was tangy and yummy. and the dinners were huge and packed with flavor.

they told us everything is handmade daily from the bread to the dressing. and each dinner is made to order.

i had chicken francese which is my favorite thing in the world and can't make myself. a place at home in ny makes my favorite.... until last week. i'll be at verducci's weekly for theirs. soooo good.
definitely go!!!!

wow! must try!. we dined there on saturday evening. interior is not much and cramped but the food makes up for the physical shortcomings. one person at our table ordered the tuna tartar appetizer. he felt it was the best he has ever eaten. he has tried it all over the country when travelling for business. mixed green salad was good, but the dressing was a bit off the mark for me. basket of assorted breads, wow! i ordered the gnocchi which is my favorite dish. another wow!. the gnocchi comes in a nice, flavorful cherry tomato sauce. it was outstanding. easily in my top five and i try this everywhere i go. the word on the strombolis other members of out party had was very good, but not wow material. prices were reasonable and excellent fresh food. we will absolutely go again.

verducci's, treat yourself. i've had 4 meals there over the past 3 months. every meal was not only delicious with a capital "d", the staff was genuinely friendly. it's is by far some of the best pizza and calzones in the area. the veal menu is excellent. the buffalo mozarella and tomato plate is to die for! i also had the tuna tartar special one evening- omg ,it exceeded my expectations!!!! i only wish they would serve real ricotta pie.

one evening, my family and i were venturing over to try ted peters, but discovered they were closed on tuesday's. undaunted, i pulled out my phone and did a quick search and found a pizzeria over on st pete beach that we hadn't tried, called verducci's. walking in the door, the delicious aroma of italian food hinted that we had good food in store for us. besides that, it was a cozy looking italian eatery and we felt right at home. we were quickly greeted at the door and given a table. after giving our drink orders, we took a minute to look over the menu. we already new we wanted the cheese pizza, but what to try along with it? we decided to try giovanni's signature lasagna, with beef. while waiting for our food, we were given a salad which was very nice and a bread basket with rolls and focaccia bread served with a olive tapenade in olive oil. the hot bread was very much appreciated and the tapenade very yummy. we thought the cheese pizza was one of the best we had in a long time and t

wow absolutly wonderful. everything was absolutly amazing from the appetizer (the mussels in white wine sauce, fantastic) to the wine and the entree(i had the pacchero shrip that was unbeliaveable, my wife had the eggplant parm, the best both of us have ever had) growing up italian i cant belive we could find a resturant this good, but i did. try it i promise you wont be dissapointed :)

excellent pizza. service staff works together and is very attentive. wife had tiramasuu and said it was authentic and very tastie. it's such a pleasure to eat pizza where it doesn't taste like surgar.

including pizzeria in the name is misleading. the cuisine is fantastic, presentation and staff were wonderful!! yes, they make great pizza and do an active takeout business but the restaurant is wonderful thank you to all.....

amazing pasta. veal florentine was extremely tender. the sausage with broccoli rabe was very flavorable

great pizza and exceptional service!. started with a nice mixed greens salad, which was excellent. ordered pizza bianca which was fabulous. great food topped by friendly and efficient service!
