like the sign says, wood-fired oven pizzas are served here, and they do a superb job. the chef is young, but extremely skilled. we went for the deluxe entree called the covaccino pizza – a delicious base of baked mozzarella and garlic, topped with a generous portion of arugula, prosciutto and shave parmigiano-reggiano and a drizzle of peppery olive oil. this was truly heaven on a plate. for this dish alone, i will return. but there are more pizzas to try here. everything is made to order, yet thefoodarrives very fast. the place is spotless and welcoming. this is a local gem.

first and last visit. i was so excited to try this place. i love a good, authentic margherita pizza, so my fiancée and i took advantage of a deal they had posted on facebook: $9 regina or $4 regular margherita. or so we thought. when we inquired about the special, the guy making the pizza denied the regina was on special. later we showed the server the facebook deal and she asked a different guy about it. he said that yes they were doing the special but didn't want anyone to know about it, so it was available only if you specifically asked for it. what?!?!?!

the server was a young woman who was doing her best but clearly overwhelmed. the guy at the oven kept demanding things from her on top of her trying to attend to customers.

i will gladly overlook poor service if thefoodis worth it, but that is not the case here. the pizza was average at best. our first visit will be our last. if you're looking for good wood-fired pizza, make the trip to judy's on cherry in reading.

simple good food. i ate here last night with my parents. it was a pleasant experience. the owner was cooking the pizza and it was delicious. the menu is short and simple with a couple pizza options to choose from. the owner frank takes his pizza very seriously and it was evident in thefoodand its preparation that he takes great pride in what he is feeding you. we spoke with him after the meal and learned that he had done a lot of research into the oven and knows a great deal about the different pizza styles of italy. the crust on his pizza's is delicious! the edges are puffy and blistered perfectly. i will definitely go back for more!
