mouth-watering. i went here for lunch with a friend and despite it being an early lunch, it was already pretty packed. this tells you that the place is popular and therefore their ingredients would be more fresh.

we ordered the seared scallops and the lamb chops as the entrees w/o appetizers. everything was started with fresh warm french bread slices and a bottle of olive oil.

the scallops come in 4 and were perfectly made. no chars on the bottom but you still got the nice hard texture on the botttom of the scallop with the flavors melted in. the scallops were served with a gravy that i've tried before at cava with fresh mushrooms. this combination was to die for. i chose spaghetti as my side and ended up mixing the spaghetti into my dish. though the spaghetti was a side, it was still notable. it is made perfectly, not like the mushy stuff that is made in mass quantity at other restaurants. it is topped with a fresh, chunky tomato sauce.

the lamb chops were absolutely delicious as well. they were juicy and perfectly cooked. the texture gave the impression of a steak. it came in a pair and fresh basil scattered on top. the side of zuchini was undeniably fresh made but desired more seasoning.

for desert we had chocolatecakeand tiramisu. we were so stuffed at that point that we were sliding the dishes toward one another. the chocolatecakecame decorated with chocolate and vanilla drizzled across the plates. thecakewas moist and firm and not too sweet. the most notable dish we had was the house-made tiramisu. it came in a huge towering slice. thecakewas so moist and as soon as it went in your mouth it melted. the rum in thecakeis evident and served as a very nice bite. pair it up with coffee and you'll be there all afternoon.
