so good it is ridiculous!

mediocre! i do not enjoy the food here! also, the rooms are very cold.

mediocre. freezing anteroom with doors wide open-oh, come on, make an ante-room for heaven's sake! it's blo cold in here!
it's awkward to wait for a table here...so shuffle us off to the bar or have an appropriate waiting space (that's not freaking cold).
burgers are good-what happened to the onion rings?? they used to be fresh and crunchy...now...frozen? not nearly as good as they used to be. typical chattanooga restaurant. won't be back soon.

waaaay overrated

always slammed & front of house is rude. u.s. is hit or miss. sometimes the burgers are really good. other times they burn them terribly. the wait staff is nice, but they turn tables soooo slow. the front of the house staff is really rude and show favoritism. we called before we came and asked if they did call ahead. we got a no. then when we got there, people who arrived after got seated and we didn't. i asked why, the rude hostess said they had called ahead. i told her what that we tried to call ahead and she told us it depends on who you talked to?????? the monens need to train their staff better and how to turn tables quicker.

had high expectations after hearing great things about the urban stack. the positive...the burger was great made with all fresh ingredients. it wasn't over or under cooked which is hard to do with burgers. loved the cucumber/pickles served with it. the not so great...our fries had been re-fried. really? they had the potential to be great fries, but come on this is not mcdonald's. our waitress was polite but wasn't very friendly. i think we were a bother to her day. loved the decor in the restaurant. i honestly like five guys and fries better.

i rank this #7 in chattanooga. i compliment the owner for the re-hab of that old building , it looks great, the decor and lighting are right on, servers are good too. this seems to be a mm theme, pretty the place up and get the hip young yuppies there and things will take care of themselves. i did not like the food at all, it was very bland, no seasoning at all ? ( it that wasn't like any benton bacon i have ever eaten either ) all 4 of us were excited about getting some time off for lunch that day and wow we all wished we had gone to merv's for a burger instead. these concepts of his since sticky's all are good bars that also have food, and im sure his product mix is higher in the booze side here and at the taco mamacita place too. good neidlove's bun, great fresh cut fries cooked the way i like them blanched and then fired ... burger was small in size and didn't look good, it looked like a formed and frozen krabby patty about 4 to 5 ounces most;ly lean muscle and little fat i'm guessing a 75/25 blend . call me old fashioned, bit give me a 80/20 chuck blend, with fries and a drink for under $10 come on , does your clients really want a local cow that bad, and please hand patti your burgers and stop using that egg ring they look frozen not fresh. i can get a flavorful angus burger with the same niedlove's bun, same fries, with a drink @ farm to fork in ringgold,ga for under $9 it was over $15 here. wanna a great burger in chattanooga try these places you wont be sorry.

nice place. great room, great food, great service, great price tag !

hip restaurant/ mediocre food. i have eaten at urban stack five times. the first time was a few weeks after opening and the food was delicious. the service was slow, but the place was packed and the atmosphere was very festive. our party of 6 tried various burgers and sides and everyone was pleased.

over the past four times, the food has been hit or miss. i worked in the restaurant business for years and i get that there are off nights. but, as i said before the atmosphere is good and it is a cool restaurant to take out of town carnivores to for a meal. saturday was the last time i will go there however. we had a party of 8 at 7;30 and got right in. bonus. our server was pleasant in her greeting and kept our waters full, and our beers coming. we ordered potato skins and nachos. the potato skins were good, enough bbq sauce to make them tender the skins crunchy for texture. the nachos were incredibly salty. whatever they use to season them was literally dumped on them. they had very little meat and way, way too much salt/msg seasoning. our burgers came and were as we ordered them. however, they were so greasy that the buns were soggy. this was on all the burgers, including the two kids burgers. again, our fries were so incredibly salty that one person at our table joked that the cooks had a salt fetish.

salty foods equals more drinks, yes. but after our server filled our large waters for the 4th time and i was thirsty hours after leaving, i realized i was not happy with my meal. greasy burgers and overly salty food do not equal a memorable meal. which is too bad considering the atmosphere and the mission of the restaurant seem to be do one thing and do it well.
maybe they have gotten too popular?

fall get-away. i was visiting the beautiful city of chattanooga as a fall get-away with a friend from atlanta. i looked up a few restaurants and put urban stack on my list. the atmosphere reminded me of a pub but it was a beautiful afternoon so we dined outdoors. my friend and i are youthful seniors and we prefer to eat healthy foods. i adored the menu because everything was-all natural, no antibiotics, grass fed, etc. they got an a on taste and presentation. it was fantastic. i had the shroom, which is the mushroom burger. i could see they actually went the long route to make a naturally creative salad. i will gladly make them my first stop on my next trip to chattanooga..

this place was great, the burgers were very original and the potato skins were flat out amazing!

thank you josh for the great service. this was our first time and we will be back, this is going to be our number one burger joint.

thank you urban spoon....awesome app !! found urban shack on here and it's a wonderful place. josh (our server) recommended the perfect burgers (steakhouse and the good day sunshine). service, food and atmosphere are great and will definitely be making several trips back here.

excellent burgers, great atmosphere and fast courteous service.
had the steakhouse and my wife the gourmet bacon cheeseburger. each ingredient popped with flavor and was distinguishable in each bite. juicy burger and the bun was so fresh and full bodied. pickles...unique like the menu itself, but excellent. best burger i have had in quite sometime. nothing else compares.

omg!!. this place is completely awesome. burgers seem to be their bread and butter food wise and they are simply amazing. this was my first experience eating food that was organic and free of antibiotics and i could not believe how much better everything tasted. the meat itself just has a clean taste to it which serves as an excellent base for their creative toppings. i also loved that they had local beers to try. i visited chattanooga with my girl friend for a night after years of not visiting the city. we both agreed that the food was unbelievable and will not ever leave chattanooga again without stopping by!.

what a great place! fun loud atmosphere! do not come looking for a cheese burger. way too many options to try to have a cheese burger anyway
