smoked gouda soup and thai chicken salad!. one or both of the above (the salad *without* the mandarin oranges that it normally comes with) is what i order every time i come here.
they are fabulous. yes, i may be boring to order one of these same two things every time. but over the years, i have tried samples of my dining companions' meals. upstream's other offerings are usually good, but the above two are just outstanding to me. i am normally the type to be more adventurous and try a wider variety, but this soup and this salad have me hooked.
contrary to other reviewers here, i've never had a service problem at upstream. sometimes they are busier than others, and consequently service can be a bit slower, but i have never had bad service or even egregiously slow service.
their patio is also really nice in season.
