very unique and fun restaurant. our waiter was very helpful in beer selection. the only weird thing was the fact we ended up having three separate waiters over the course of the meal. steak salad was very good, and i can see what people mean about the pot roast. mine was lacking in flavor.. i had to salt and pepper it more than i thought i would have to, and the gravy gave it the flavor. still, a fun and great experience!

good brewery environment to go to. we didn't have a problem with service. the food was good, burger was tasty, and the ipa hit the spot.

ditch the microwave. four of us ate at upstream this afternoon. the beer was good, the service was fine. the pot roast was dry, the raspberry chicken was dry, the bangers and mash was ok, the jr turkey sandwich was good. it seemed like the pot roast and chicken had been heated up quickly.

we got a little confirmation as to the cooking style when we ordered dessert. the waitress told us they "just got the bread pudding into the microwave". nothing like microwaved burned carmel to provide a surprising end to the meal.

will certainly stop in for a beer again but no food here again.

good beer...decent food...terrible service.. i have give the upstream a number of chances, and like drunken father it lets you down time and time again. no matter how good of food or drinks a place has, it always come down to the service. being ignored by the hostess, waitress and bartender are not good things...especially when it is not terribly busy. the food is ok...not great, but ok. individual pizzas are enjoyable but not memorable. do yourself a favor and avoid the frustration. order a growler of their home brewed beer to go after you eat your dinner somewhere else.

i love the food but it's a little pricey. their tomato and beer cheese soups are excellent. i have them mix them~ yum!!

my mouth is watering just thinking about the food! so incredibly good! great appetizers, great steak, and the pastas are beyond delicious! great place for a date or casual business meeting. classy, but not stuffy, huge menu to choose from, and diverse drink menu. something for everyone, in a great old market location.

good beer. i think the food here is overpriced and not that great all around. i mainly come here just to grab a few beers once in a while. the beers they offer are pretty great, and after 11 pm theyre only about 2 dollars.

bring clients to upstream all the time. when guests are in from out of town i bring them to upstream -
always good, always fun - large menu

urban atmosphere,great food,great bar. upstream is what every brewing company in ne should strive to be.their service is superb.i love a good steak and they are my go-to.and their drinks are fantastic.the pool tables are fun and its a good hangout spot .definitely recommend it!

definitely worth visiting if you like brewpubs. however, while very acceptable, the food and beer i sampled were only average to good. the cask conditioned dark ale, while drinkable, lacked a memorable lasting impression. calamari was a bit too chewy. the lamb shank dinner was not quite "meat falling off the bone" as promised by the waitress. service was overall friendly. atmosphere is good although not overly pub-like. overall, i still would recommend going here. i just have been to much better brewpubs in other parts of the country.

six thumbs up. great root beer and o! gold beer. we took the advice of the other reviews and had the artichoke dip and the smoked gouda and beer soup. outstanding. my wife said the best the black bean veggie burger she has ever had. service was fast, friendly and good!

smoked gouda & beer soup - a must!. i've been to this restaurant 3 times now on business trips, and now make sure to always have the time to eat here whenever i'm in town. all of the food i've had here is amazing, and their beers are quite good as well. and you've got to try to the smoked gouda & beer soup, it was out of this world!
