i have been to "the grill" on many occasions and always leave satisfied. the service is excellent and the restaurant is very cozy. the food is not the best italian you will ever have, but it is quite high quality and easily one of the best restaurants in washington, pa. wellwortha trip if you are in town.

dine out often. love this place! always great food!! veal special tonight was terrific. might be a restaurant in a basement of a building but its defiantlywortha try. bar reminds me of an old rathskeller which brings back memories. highly suggest!!

one of my favorite places lately. good quality, mostly fresh, well made good. really cool atmosphere and the the owner is friendly and takes the time to make sure you are taken care of. the stuffed ny strip is my favorite. unexpectedly the pizza is wellworthordering as well. we haven't had a bad meal yet. can get a bit busy at lunch and dinner time, i tend to go just after the rush hours.

great lunch. the tuna melt is one of the best around, the roasted red peppers really kick it up. it isworththe drive from southpointe down to washington for lunch.

good place to hang out. the kitchen in this place is really good. i haven't had a bad meal and i go about once a month. the decor is outdated and the dessert cooler in the dining room is a little tacky, but then so are the paper place mats. another thing that bothers me is the plastic soufflé cups they serve salad dressing in, placed right on your salad. in addition, the staff is more snobby than friendly.

this is all being nit-picky, of course. they've got a good bar selection and great italian style menu. the food is tasty, it's not inexpensive, but the quality isworthwhat you pay for. with a little tweaking, this could be a very classy restaurant. as is, it's a nice place to hang out with friends, relax and enjoy good food and drinks.

best restaurant in washington. there are plenty of places to eat in washington but if you have a few extra bucks in your wallet union grill is the place to go. i can't count the number of times i've eaten there, and not once have i had a bad meal. yes it is a little expensive compared to most places in the area but every penny is wellworthit. the atmosphere is one of a kind, the exposed stone and brick, it's just awesome. oh don't bother trying to get cell phone reception down there though, something about that old stone building, it's just not happening, but that's okay because you aren't going to want to be interupted while you're eating anyhow. i'd eat there every day if i could afford it. love the union grill!!!

get the shrimp stuffed strip! trust me you can't go wrong. wellworththe price. drinks are expensive too, but they made them strong. overall 2 thumbs up, but bring some money :-)

best restaurant in washington. amazing zucchini, pizza, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, steak, basically everything is delicious. great service and nice atmosphere. large bar area. very busy on the weekends butworththe wait! excellent choice for everyday dinners or special occasions.
