one of my favorite places lately.goodquality, mostly fresh, well made good. really cool atmosphere and the the owner is friendly and takes the time to make sure you are taken care of. the stuffed ny strip is my favorite. unexpectedly the pizza is well worth ordering as well. we haven't had a bad meal yet. can get a bit busy at lunch and dinner time, i tend to go just after the rush hours.

good place to hang out. the kitchen in this place is really good. i haven't had a bad meal and i go about once a month. the decor is outdated and the dessert cooler in the dining room is a little tacky, but then so are the paper place mats. another thing that bothers me is the plastic soufflé cups they serve salad dressing in, placed right on your salad. in addition, the staff is more snobby than friendly.

this is all being nit-picky, of course. they've got agoodbar selection and great italian style menu. the food is tasty, it's not inexpensive, but the quality is worth what you pay for. with a little tweaking, this could be a very classy restaurant. as is, it's a nice place to hang out with friends, relax and enjoygoodfood and drinks.

the spaghetti was verygoodand came with a lot of mushrooms as an add-on. i really liked the house salad dressing. i was surprised how busy they were at 9:30 on a friday night.

another great meal. the linguini fantasy is incredible. my fiancé loves the chicken alfredo. they are both so good, we don't order another entrees.goodvalue. two dinners and a glass of cabernet. $45

good food, hard to get a table. i've been here quite a few times over the four years that i lived at w&j college (since it was right down the street). the food is good, but it's hard to get a table. i had reservations for my birthday two years ago and still had to wait at least half an hour to sit down. i remember wishing that i had gone to angelo's instead. the portions can also be small for the price depending on what is ordered (definitely the ravioli).

otherwise, i recommend the pizza (especially the 4-cheese). the riesling is also delicious. :o) they have a nice happy hour menu after 8 pm that i would suggest as well.goodrestaurant if you have time to wait during peak hours or for lunch.

recommend. nice local establishment that has be around for years. great place to meet after work for drinks and dinner. pasta dishes are verygoodalong with the pizza and fried zucchini,

best independant in washington. probably the best independent restaurant in washington. i am kinda burnt out on it, but the fried zucchini is perfect, evenly breaded and crispy and served with lemon, pasta sauce and horseradish sauce. get the small order if there are only a few of you dining as a little bit goes a long way. i also really like the eggplant parmesan appetizer. so much so that i have got it as an entrée along with a salad.

if you’re in a mood for a sandwich, get the rachel. roast beef piled high with swiss (i sub for provo) and coleslaw. it is accompanied by homemade potato chips, but i’m not a big chip fan unless they use peanut oil (which they don’t) so i get them to hold ‘em – but you might like them so give them a try.

one dish comes to mind for dinner – pasta vesuvius. if you like olives, you have to get it.

it is currently being run by an interim manager as both the owner and his significant other are dealing with personal issues and i tend to think that they were responsible for some of the items, like the pasta sauce and some of the amount of ingredients in the recipes so while it is not asgoodas it once was, it is still better than any other place in that town.
