if you were a tuks student, and never tasted uncle faouzi - you have done it wrong!
thee place to be after a heavy night or during such night.chickenburgers are awesome! not entirely certain what goes into that sauce, but it sure tastes amazing at 3am.

as a student at the university of pretoria trust and believe that this is the go-to-spot for the most succulentchickenwings on the block and about 50 blocks more?

this is a chill spot to enjoy not only food but some hubbly (rentable and purchasable) at the till) while you wait for your food and after you've had your meal with all kinds of flavors and coals.

the wings come in different flavors ranging from hot to mild to barbecue!
quick note is know that this is a very popular and iconic joint on this side of pretoria so you'll probably find a queue regardless of the time you go!

no pictures taken sadly on this quick visit but it is definitely a place to visit!!!

i've had uncle faouzi's for many years. and through the years, the famous debonedchickenvaried in taste but still burst in flavour. i've always gotten fresh salads and well spiced chips.

the service is good. it's a busy, take-away joint. i seldom sat and ate there. too many vagrants around.

good value for money, some of their staff is a bit daft.chickenwings and drum sticks are very small, so it makes me think thesechickenmust come from very cheap places that kills thechickenafter a month, so it can not be organic, but for the price you pay, totally understandable.

uncle faouzi'schickenschwarma is one of my favorite take away foods for when you're are in a rush but don't want a greasy/oily meal! it is quick, has a reasonable price and uses healthy, fresh ingredients and just the right amount of sauce🌯

having hadchickenlicken and kfc's wings many times i must say that these were my favourite. worth driving the extra mile to stuff my face with their wings. thechickenburgers are also a treat and i usually find myself buying more than enough!!

my only experience when it comes to lebanese food. i love the debonedchickenas well as the wings. the shwarma is great and the service is fast and friendly.

i always order thechickenschwarma when i come here. this place is perfect for a late night snack. the food is spiced really well and their chips are awesome. i love that it's open till really late

when the power's out... in your neighborhood... who you gonna call?

uncle faouzi every single time. comfort food at its best. as far as fast food goes, i tend to avoid it as much as i can, but faouzi's will always be my plan b. its possible to feed our busy house of 6 people with just over r100 worth ofchickenburger specials.

i absolutely love uncle faouzi, it i more of a take away restaurant in my opinion but the atmosphere is definitely one of students and young adults. be sure to place an order before lunch time as they can get very busy!
as a student we ordered here almost everyday (i picked up so much weight, but it was worth it!) - 

my absolute favourite dish to this day is thechickenburger special with garlic / peri-peri sauce. it is amazing, the chips are also very good and just completes the dish. another favourite is the falafel wrap - its a slightly healthier option, but is just as delicious
my husband and i still drive past there and have midnight snacks after a night out.

after a little party-party, there is nothing better than an uncle faouzichickenclub wrap.

yes, the restaurant desperately needs a lick of paint and some re-branding (that yellow is just awful) but there's something about its grungy student atmosphere that i don't think should ever change.

i wouldn't say people should travel far to eat here (it really is just a regular take-away joint) but if you are in the area, stop by for a wrap and some hubbly. the prices are fantastic too! from a joburger's perspective, anyway.
