this place makes the best fries i've ever had at a fast food joint, however, they have a manager who sleeps on the job while incompetent fools man his "station". i don't know who the owner left in charge of his baby on the night shift of 29/05/2017 but that man must go before he ruins the name of uncle faouzi's any further. i really hope the owner sees this.

ever since i started studying in pretoria, uncle faouzi has been my favourite food place. even tho i'm not in hatfield any longer, whenever i am i make sure i never leave empty handed. this place keeps you coming back for more, i recommend it to everyone to hasn't tried it, you will love it!

you can simply not go to quiz night at aandklas and not stop at uncle faouzis. when load shedding hits, we go to uncle faouzis. when you are poor at the end of the month you go to uncle faouzis. literally 100times better than mcdonalds (although thats not really a milestone). the duo combo is my favourite meal with the honey mustard sauce ???

a very popular place for the up students. at least they do cater for vegetarians so we can eat something there. the food was good and service was ok ,

if you were a tuks student, and never tasted uncle faouzi - you have done it wrong!
thee place to be after a heavy night or during such night. chicken burgers are awesome! not entirely certain what goes into that sauce, but it sure tastes amazing at 3am.
solid student place!

it's all part of the student experience, every tukkie or new pretoria resident needs to try it at least once. i love the falafel, wraps and burger specials. nice and greasy old school styled take aways... great garlic and chilli sauces. salivating just thinking about it.

you can never ever go wrong with chow from faouzi’s. this food has saved many students’ literal lives on heavy nights our and those of late night studying during test and exam weeks. i 100% recommend everything on the menu.

uncle faouzi’s becomes a kind of comfort food if you’re a student living in hatfield - a place you’ll speak highly of but then get strange looks from your parents when you bring them around to the shop (which has entire cabinet of hookahs, i might add). their food is cheap, delicious, filling and they’re open 24/7. what more could you want from a takeaway restaurant? in coming to the store, you may be overwhelmed by the amount of people who will probably come up to you and ask for money or food but, while they may appear overbearing, i’ve never experienced any violence or theft here - so just pack some extra food in, if possible, and do a good thing on your way to your shawarma.

an acquaintance was ranting and raving about their wings which i had to try out myself, they were amazingly succulent. could do with a bit more sauce on them... i don't know if i need to try out something else on their menu to change my rating but it was just ok.

i'm not usually one to rate fast food restaurants so highly, but uncle faouzi's serves amazing lebanese street food and is highly deserving of a 4 star ranking!

best place to go for those late night craving or post turn-up munchies. it's alway open which makes it supper conviniet. the food has unique flavours from their great sauces. mostly a student hangout spot but you can swing a family meal there too

as a student at the university of pretoria trust and believe that this is the go-to-spot for the most succulent chicken wings on the block and about 50 blocks more?

this is a chill spot to enjoy not only food but some hubbly (rentable and purchasable) at the till) while you wait for your food and after you've had your meal with all kinds of flavors and coals.

the wings come in different flavors ranging from hot to mild to barbecue!
quick note is know that this is a very popular and iconic joint on this side of pretoria so you'll probably find a queue regardless of the time you go!

no pictures taken sadly on this quick visit but it is definitely a place to visit!!!

this places burgers and wings are amazing. they tast good, spicy, fresh and easy to eat. its a unique hub for hungry students and workers near by. their prices are very affordable and i can honestly say they beat macdonalds burger and chips and every other thing. faouzi's food is not artificial tasting and paper like. its real food.

good lebanese take out. food is very tasty (spiced just right) and the portions are generous - overall very good value for money. i can recommend any of the schwarma wraps - they are all great. in terms of atmosphere it's not much (being primarily a take-aways), but it's always bustling. a sit-in option is available, and you can even buy or rent a hubbly.
