great food and service. the food and service at unapizzaare both top notch. we always leave full and happy. the kale salad is delicious and healthy. the meatballs are delicious. thepizzais probably some of the best in calgary. our service is always consistently good. the atmosphere can be a little cramped, it is a small restaurant, but the energy is great.

favourite spot in calgary!. una is one of my favourite spots to eat in calgary. the staff are really friendly, atmosphere extremely cute and creative and the food is yummy yummy. they change the art on the walls every once in a while which, as an art lover is really wonderful!

thepizzais perfectly thin yet crispy and the toppings are just right, not too much or little. i am able to get pineapple or potato on mypizzahere and that makes me happy as not many places do this, at least for pineapple it's not usually fresh but is here. everything is made hot and on the spot - una is the best little eatery! :)

i have been here many times and will continue to go.

bestpizzaever. thepizzahere is absolutely delicious. it's always busy when i go here so it's often hard to get a table. too bad they don't accept reservations. definitely one of those places where it's worth waiting for a table though.

great kale caesar salad!. i decided on this place for my birthday family dinner. we were not disappointed. we beat the crowd so we were seated within minutes.

we started with the kale caesar salad. it was delicious. i was kind of curious as to how it would taste with the kale, but it was good. we had two pizzas (forget which kind!) and they were just as delicious.

service was great!

low grade dog food!. okay, maybe not quite low grade dog food... but seriously wayyyy too much hype. everyones ranting & raving "oh my godd; you have to try una! it's to dieee for''. so my boyfriend that will eat anything gave it a shot, and was not impressed with the skimpy pizza. i mean come on, it had hardly any toppings and as soon as we took a bite the paper thin salami ripped off. we got the salamipizzabecause none of the other pizzas had meat on them, and the only thing other than salami was a couple dried up measly looking peppers in the middle of the pizza.

next time i would way rather pick up a frozen delissiopizzaand save myself the let down. or even pick up dominos and not have to fight my way through the busy 17th ave restaurant, full of people who do not know what they are getting tricked into.

overall good. everything was delicious and fresh. the service was friendly and attentive and there is a great vibe to the place. it's fun without being pretentious. you get the feeling that you could ask your server what "friulano" is without anyone looking down their nose at you. the pink peppercorn dressing on the salad was as good as it sounds and i loved the fennel sausage.

maybe strange for apizzaplace, but the peanut butter + chocolate terrine blew my mind. it was sooo good. it had house made marshmallow on top and roasted peanuts. it was heaven. order it, you won't regret it! we will definitely be back.

lovely night out. ate here on a friday night. the wait was about 1 hour (they had advised it would be 1-1.5 hour wait) so we went elsewhere to have a drink while we waited.

i shared the olives and kale salad to start, the 4-maggipizzathen the peanut butter & chocolate terrine for dessert. the meal was absolutely delicious. can't wait to return :)

una is a pizzeria on 17 ave. they do not take reservations so the place tends to fill up quickly. arrived at 6:10 and after hobbling around the construction for 15 mins to the restaurant, the host was gracious enough to seat me even though the rest of my party hadn’t arrived yet. their policy is that they would not seat you until the entire party was there, but i was thankful they seated me earlier...given my badly injured foot. the place was packed. the food was spectacular. the vegetarianpizzawas so good. it took a while to make but when it did come, it was piping hot and so good. i definitely want to come back again and try some other things off their menu...i had eyed the mushroompizzaand the veal and pork meatballs, so i have to go back to try them. excellent place. i can see why it’s one of the top 25 restaurants in avenue magazine!

i still like red brickpizzabetter. but, yes, the best in alberta for apizzain this class (die famoso die!). if you had to pick between this and famoso... don't even... just spend the extra cash and come here. you gotta go hard or go home (i.e. una or delissio).

i don't know if this is whatpizzawill taste like in italy but i like it. how original and authentic is this? i'm sure it's close to being 100% legit. the sausage tasted like it was made from scratch and it's not some store-bought or factory-made crap like you are used to eating. that was a change. the spring onions were plentiful and it's overwhelming but good in a way.

atmosphere was eclectic. from open-window atmosphere to sitting at the bar to having tables inside the restaurant, it was just an oodle of joy to be there and experience the crowded atmosphere.

worth the hype and the price. no hating here.

what's all the hype for? we went to unapizzaafter hearing good things about it and honestly i was really disappointed. i had the mushroom pizza. i was so happy until i had my first bite, thepizzawas so bland. hmmm i guess that works for some people. i expect more than just blah. if anyone tells u it tastes like thepizzain rome. either they have never been to italy or they went to very bad pizzeria there.

one of the best at cooking up italian style pizzas in the city, that is if you have the patience to wait for an hour (sometimes 2) for a table to sit! it gets very busy but you can always call ahead to check. the wild mushroompizzadrizzled with truffle oil is something to die for.

i liked it but i thought it was a bit overrated. the service was good even though they were really busy. thepizzawas good because i love thin crust. with that said, where is the cheese??! cheese onpizzais a must, otherwise it's just some bread with veggies on it. i'd still go back but it doesn't make it to my top places to eat list.
