tymad bistro

this is the answer to my insatiable craving for french food. they capture the flavours of french cuisine and serves those with only the best wine selection. i ordered their escargot de bourgogne and tymad smoked salmon. what won me over were their cakes. the best cakes in cebu. i tried their copper sphere. it has the smoothest, richest, melts in your mouth swiss chocolate on a bed of crisp peanut and chocolate feuillitine. it'sdessertthat looks like zumbo's creations. for those who know me, you know how i have an unpopular opinion on chocolate. i am not a fan! but this, i would go against my own taste to have this anytime. i also had their strawberry shortcake (not in photo). it had a light vanilla sponge with mascarpone cream. what won me over were the big pieces of strawberry. they may have placed half a dozen in it, gave the acidic punch and freshness on the plate.

if you really want the best croissants then tymad bistro is where you will get it. not only do they have delicious pastries but their food is also yummy. their crepes are the bomb along with their pasta and salads. plus the owner is the nicest guy ever. he always makes you feel at home. great place for good food whether it’s dinner ordessertor both! :)

the good is delicious and the desserts are a must, however, the staff seems to be on the shady side. i had dinner and had purchaseddessertfor take out and they charged me a service charge on the take out items! also just recently i bought take outdessertand the cashier did not ring up order on cash register until i politely asked for a reciept.
at the prices they charge, they should have credit machine working, but it seems it only worked once since the many times i have
visited after the staff keep saying its not working.

the only place in cebu where the strawberry cakes are made up of actual strawberries! need i say more?

the pistachio, combines different flavors and textures to come up with adessertthat is to die for!

plus, their raspberry jam apparently compliments everything! an icing on the cake!

their l'opera cake is a must try! great place for tea,dessertor dinner. they have a collection of french books you can read or browse while waiting for your order. 🍰 ☕ 📚

you guys should try the crepes! totally worth it cause the ice cream, whipped cream plus sauces go so well together making the whole dish not too sweet but still really satisfying for those who lovedessert❤️

their specialty is buckwheat crapes. great fordessertand breakfast/ brunching. a bit pricy but worth the brunch ambiance. if you don't know what to order, go with the classic, butter and sugar crape. (its real french butter)
