came in last monday 29th september to find thisplacea disappointment customer service lacking, bastia made coffee was terrible food was disgusting and overly priced. the only person on your staff who knew what they were doing was the waitress who placing my order in she was absolutely welcoming she was a short lady pakeha with dark hair in a bun wearing her bumble bee mask only on actually wearing one. definitely deserve a pay rise

visited today with my grandmother for the first time. excellent food, coffee and service, and theplaceitself is the jewel of ham east, if not hamilton itself. great vibe and cool relaxed setting. we will be back for more!

brought a snickers cheesecake from the cabinet, served with coconut cream. delicious, but very sweet! loved the environment, but i felt very out ofplace(a kid, in an atmosphere of adults) instagram worthy environment and food! double-tick!! 😊😂😂

i used to love this place, the service was friendly, the food good and the atmosphere fun. lately my visits have been the complete opposite, the staff don't smile when they take your order, today's staff were so bad they made me feel like a nuisance for even ordering. 
the service is slow, today there were only 4 other people in front of me waiting to order and it took me half an hour to get to the counter. i ordered takeaway from the cabinet because it used to be fast but today i had to wait another ten minutes for them to put a burrito (not heated) in a box. the salad it came with was limp and dry with no dressing or niceties. probably the worst $15 i've spent on food. 
they have spruced theplaceup and got rid of the awful carpet which i appreciate, i just wish they would get rid of the awful attitude that comes with the service.

i've always had a bias view of two birds because of how vegan friendly they are, being vegan myself. i love how they supply vegan alternatives that aren't really on offer in most places - eg, coconut cream, coconut flavored milk, vegan snickers bars..not to mention the vegan meals on offer.
the last few visits over the course of the past 6 months have been disappointing though. the food is nice, but either sickly sweet or bland savoury. it is healthy and you never feel guilty for eating such a good sized portion, but i feel like they could do better in terms of taste, especially for their menu items. (except for the acai bowl, it's really nice and fresh tasting, save for the surprise super chunks of brazil nuts)
the food doesn't bother me too much because i still like to go back for more, but their service is making theplacemore and more off putting. while they have improved the organization, the staff just seem super unhappy and dull, as if they'd rather be anywhere else. i work as a waitress and i understand that it can get tiresome to play happy all of the time, but it's part of the job if you want to create a good relationship with your customers. you don't have to be a spongebob level of happy robot, but a smile and a bit of enthusiasm goes a long way, even if your customer is being a jerk.

beyond obsessed with this place! the layout of the café is so perfect and works well. they have so many wonderful healthy food options and the smoothies are delicious. you leave theplacewanting to come back.

i love thisplacethere is always so much good and healthy food on the menu. used to be obsessed with the chicken vietnamese rolls and the fried chicken! so many good smoothie and salad options as well.

awesomeplaceto hang out with friends. although they were busy it did not feel overwhelming being there as tables are quite spread out. it is much better to sit outside also. my partner and i had the vegan brownie at $8.50 and an apple crumble with yogurt at $12. the desserts were very yummy, even though they were priced on the higher end it is definately worth it as the quality and taste are amazing. coffee was very good thumbs up!

so i got the buckwheat chia pancakes with a small version of the brotein smoothie as was told the full sized smoothie is filling.

they had a adequate reading supply including the nz herald.

smoothie came out, this was nice and refreshing, consume it slowly because the taste is great.

pancakes came out, had to wait a wee while but hey didn't mind as it was my day off and was in a rush to go anywhere. normally go for a savoury option come breakfast time, but thought ordering pancakes had to be done (did not regret that decision as they kept me full until 1:30 pm).

i shall be back

came on a saturday to a very busy vibe. my partner really loves the chia pancakes and has come here regularly to have them. she also raves over the smoothies. i however came in for the first time and ordered the almond crusted chicken with chutney on ciabatta. it was ok and the textures were nice but it lacked flavour and needed a better acidity kick to offset the chicken. the glasses was sticky and covered with water spots and the spoon for my coffee was not clean. i'm sure thisplacehas stand out dishes as it was packed but it just didn't impress me as much as it does for my partner.

me and my girlfriend found thisplaceend of last year and go together most saturdays. friendly staff, great atmosphere and awesome menu . my partner can get her green smoothie and healthy breakfast while i can have a good feed. also good coffee . red haired barista is the best

i am a local at this cafe and absolutely love it! it's in such an unlikelyplaceand it's great for hamilton. i have watched them grow since they opened and love how they do healthy nourishing food as well as the odd treat. staff are always pleasant and helpful. it is very busy so sometimes there is a wait as expected but obviously they are busy for a reason.

if you don't enjoy your mealtime swatting flies then this is not theplacefor you. it really put us off our meal which was very average. have had their catered food previously which was very nice. will not be going back.

first thing i noticed at this café was the service...it is friendly and genuinely friendly and the staff seem to actually like each other and enjoy what they are doing.
the food on offer was visually great and today just as i arrived they pulled their homemade hot cross buns out of the oven...blissfully warm and served with butter, delicious!
the coffee was fab, the reading material plentiful and interesting, obviously reflecting the café owners interests of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free.
an interestingplacethat had a great "feel" to it.
i will be back to asap with friends!
