check it out. be warned, they don't take debit/credit cards. but thecoffeeis good enough to scrounge around for change in your car. service was super friendly too. will definitely be back.

love this place! great little place with awesome bagels. we were only in ft. myers for two days and both days we went to breakfast here. the atmosphere is killer and thecoffeeis great. also, tasha's secret is the bomb. keep doing great things, tuckaway.

hands down our new favorite breakfast/lunch spot!!! never did my son and i imagine we would enjoy a steamed bagel breakfast sandwich and a wafel with no syrup as much as we did!! it was so good that after he ordered the wafel and i ordered the sunrise bagel...we turned around and ordered another round and switched...i had wafel and he had sandwich, in the same sitting!!! lol from the moment we walked in till the moment we left we felt so welcomed and at home!!! the staff and owners treated us and every customer as if we were their family, their favorite customer, their best friend, and the only people in there...which of course we were not, they had a full
house, inside and out!!! they have a full stockedcoffeebar with tons of flavor combos, they have fresh smoothies made to order...and if you want something custom that's not on their menu, they make it with a smile!!! you can eat outside and enjoy people watching and the beautiful weather it inside and enjoy all the cool art and funky decorations on the walls, either way, you will not be disappointed!!! i am so glad to have found this place while spending time at a friends timeshare, and even happier that i only live in port charlotte, so i can enjoy their great food & atmosphere more then once a year!!!! thank you tuckaway staff for a wonderful first impression...we will be back and have already spread the word!!! i hope many more will read the reviews and go there...because they may be a small, 'tucked away' little place...but there is nothing small, little or tucked away, when it comes to great food and great customer service at tuckaway bagel and wafel cafe!!!

so-so. tolerable choice if nothing else is open (check the nearby heavenly biscuit cafe first). staff is very nice; unfortunately, the food doesn't quite cut it.coffeehad a funny taste. waffle was a bit dense and the mango jam was pungent. bagels were okay at best. if you're not picky--and i admit i am--then you'll probably be okay with the food. if you are very particular about your food and know good bagels, either temper your expectations or look elsewhere.

food ok, espresso - not so. first let me say i have very high standards and have traveled extensively so this review is relative to some premier competition.

service: very friendly and welcoming. prompt service.

food: i had a mcgregor bagel sandwich. the ingredients were fresh but the overall taste was non-descript.

coffee: i had a cappuccino. thecoffeebeans were pre-roasted, bagged, lavazza so over roasted and who knows how old? the shots were way under-extracted and sour. the milk was seafoam. the typical un-trained barista syndrome.

best in fl. this place is the best!coffeetop of the line and the breakfast food is amazing! everything is fresh and made to order. the shop is small and cozy with a large outside eating area. highly recommended! just make sure you bring cash, they do not take credit. as a side note, they offer fast wireless internet and also provide two pc's if you do not have a laptop!

we were in ft. myers beach for a week and this is by far the best place to get breakfast, lunch, or just a good cup of coffee. the steamed bagel sandwiches are healthy and filling( try the greenpeace) the liege waffles are amazing ( topped with homemade whipped cream), and thecoffeeis excellent. i can't wait to come back and share this charming little place with friends.

absolutely yummy belgian liege wafels, steamed bagel sandwiches,coffeedrinks & smoothies!. we are just beginning our vacation and had a wonderful experience at tuckaway. don't go with the norm...you've got to try this place...you won't regret it!!! it's cozy indoor-outdoor atmosphere will make you feel right at home and like you want to hang out with your laptop for hours. the belgian liege wafels are fantastic and make you feel like you can't stop at just one (and for those watching their waistlines, they're only 340 calories). they also have an assortment of steamed bagel sandwiches (breakfast and more) that are delicious. t he owners, tasha and sam, will make you feel right at home. i know we'll be stopping by frequently while we're here!

the bestcoffeeshop!!. the tuckaway bagel & wafel cafe is a must! my friends and i stumbled across this treasure and ended up staying for a couple of hours! the owner's are so personable and thecoffeeis delicious. when you go you must try the wafel. it is absolutely amazing! also, the steamed bagel sandwiches are fabulous. really everything there is great! i wish i lived closer so i could go every day!

worth the drive. this cozy cafe has all the charm of a european cafe., the food is amazing, the best liage belgium waffles in florida (really), i tried steamed bagels there for the first time, incredible and lets not forget thecoffeedelicious, this is a must try, they trat you like family, we drove from miami and will continue to stop there when in ft. meyers...

coffee and wafels! what could be better!???. i love this cozy little place. being on vacation can sometimes get stressful but hanging out at the tuckaway is totally relaxing. i love the atmosphere and natasha is so nice i was so happy to meet her. she is a really amazing person and is very fun to talk to. i had a smoothie and some pringles but i have yet you have the wafel but i am planning having one for lunch! and i lovecoffeeso i will prollly come in tomorrow before we leave to go back to cold illinois.

tuckaway(the old internet cafe) fort myers beach. just had the best cup ofcoffeein southwest florida at one of the very few shops that serves lavazza espresso, and a variety of other lavazza blends, along with some of the finest original pastries and quick 'gourmet' meals fully prepared in this kitchen (not delivered and reheated!). the owners are french and the sevice is over the top; artists they are and the waffle and frozen key lime pie are incomparable. do not miss this stop along the way; just a few steps from downtown fmb on the beach side with indoor outdoor seating and plenty of atmosphere. i am now a committed regular for the coffee, then some - and more.... certainly it is easy to find yourself here!!!!!!

awesome!. the tuckaway is by far the best place in ft. myers for a great morning cup ofcoffeeand even lunch for many of their original food items! if you've never had a steamed bagel sandwich, you are missing out. my husband and i both had the sunrise breakfast bagel and it was amazing! my brother-in-law had the chocolate chip bagel with nutella and cream cheese! wow. you have to visit the tuckaway if you are looking for a great place to eat thats healthy and simple. the atmosphere is very laid back and tasha and sam are great, friendly people who have done an awesome job of making this bagel and wafel cafe, one of those places you cant wait to get up and get to! we will be back!

must go. my husband and i love this place, what an unexpected treasure hidden away and we sat on the patio, it was really nice, but the food was incredible, i had my first steamed bagel sandwich at first i thought it sounded weird but, i was hungry, i had with pastrami, roast beef, tomato, their sauce, pepperjack, colby, it was soo good!
my husband had a liege belgium waffle that was out of this world excellent too. i kept eating his and he was getting mad, it didn't even need anything on top, the flavor was so right on. we were also able to use their computers and make copies/ fax some things, it was their first day in business today and the owners were really nice. i give this place 5 stars my husband loves thecoffeeits european
