check it out. be warned, they don't take debit/credit cards. but the coffee is good enough to scrounge around for change in your car. service was super friendly too. will definitely be back.

if there was a "love" button, i would have clicked it. this is one of the best little cafes in ft myers and i'm not just a visitor, i used to live here. i will have to make sure i swing by here anytime i'm in town. the waffle with mango jam and whipped topping is my favorite.

loved the greenpeace bagel, get the horseradish sauce on the side so you can add more to it. gives your sandwich a kick! cute business, lovely staff and we didn't have any issues with lines so maybe some reviewers go on the weekends and we went during the week.

love this place! great little place with awesome bagels. we were only in ft. myers for two days and both days we went to breakfast here. the atmosphere is killer and the coffee is great. also, tasha's secret is the bomb. keep doing great things, tuckaway.

great small business. wonderful breakfast for a good cost. the lox, bagel sandwiches and waffles were fabulous. everything is made fresh to order.

hands down our new favorite breakfast/lunch spot!!! never did my son and i imagine we would enjoy a steamed bagel breakfast sandwich and a wafel with no syrup as much as we did!! it was so good that after he ordered the wafel and i ordered the sunrise bagel...we turned around and ordered another round and switched...i had wafel and he had sandwich, in the same sitting!!! lol from the moment we walked in till the moment we left we felt so welcomed and at home!!! the staff and owners treated us and every customer as if we were their family, their favorite customer, their best friend, and the only people in there...which of course we were not, they had a full
house, inside and out!!! they have a full stocked coffee bar with tons of flavor combos, they have fresh smoothies made to order...and if you want something custom that's not on their menu, they make it with a smile!!! you can eat outside and enjoy people watching and the beautiful weather it inside and enjoy all the cool art and funky decorations on the walls, either way, you will not be disappointed!!! i am so glad to have found this place while spending time at a friends timeshare, and even happier that i only live in port charlotte, so i can enjoy their great food & atmosphere more then once a year!!!! thank you tuckaway staff for a wonderful first impression...we will be back and have already spread the word!!! i hope many more will read the reviews and go there...because they may be a small, 'tucked away' little place...but there is nothing small, little or tucked away, when it comes to great food and great customer service at tuckaway bagel and wafel cafe!!!

love this place. nice quick little breakfast nook. it's very busy. go early. you won't regret it.

i just got coffee, which was very good. internet worked very well. sandwiches all looked good though i wish that they had salads for those who cannot eat bread.

so-so. tolerable choice if nothing else is open (check the nearby heavenly biscuit cafe first). staff is very nice; unfortunately, the food doesn't quite cut it. coffee had a funny taste. waffle was a bit dense and the mango jam was pungent. bagels were okay at best. if you're not picky--and i admit i am--then you'll probably be okay with the food. if you are very particular about your food and know good bagels, either temper your expectations or look elsewhere.

a little pricey, but that seems to be a common theme at ft myers beach. we had a snook and bec bagels (yummy) and the kids each had one of their old-school wafels w/nutella. they loved it!

very disappointed. after reading the wonderful reviews we decided to try the tuckaway. $20 for two coffees and undercooked nasty waffles! yes they were sweet, yes they have an antique waffle iron, but it tasted like the batter was made yesterday and reused.
yes, the staff is fr iendly and the place is cute, but we would never recommend it by the quality of the food.

food ok, espresso - not so. first let me say i have very high standards and have traveled extensively so this review is relative to some premier competition.

service: very friendly and welcoming. prompt service.

food: i had a mcgregor bagel sandwich. the ingredients were fresh but the overall taste was non-descript.

coffee: i had a cappuccino. the coffee beans were pre-roasted, bagged, lavazza so over roasted and who knows how old? the shots were way under-extracted and sour. the milk was seafoam. the typical un-trained barista syndrome.
