poor excuse forhappyhour. our group of coworkers try to make it tohappyhour every other month. we are a group of 8 to 16 depending on if spouses join or not. they no longer take reservations forhappyhour and that is their option but do they have to be so rude. in the past, we have just shown up anyway and take our chances of getting seated somewhat together. but no longer! after i called to reserve a table and the response was to be so un- accomodating, we have decided to meet elsewhere from now on. we love the st. charles area because it is so central to where we all live and work. luckily there are other restaurants in the area that are very accomodating. if the restaurant was busy, i might be able to understand the policy, but we arrive at 4pm and are gone by 5:30pm. we all orderhappyhour specials and beer or wine and cocktails. well, no longer. terrible manners on the phone and poor attitude are the main reason for our change of venue. also, we have been told there is no server available, well, that is why we call ahead with a 2 week notice. poor management is no excuse. we will not return!
