almost always get the ribs and potatoes au gratin with green beans. consistently good food!lovethe skinny margarita and fish specials as well! this is an island favorite with good music and bar menu!

ate here last year and had wonderful service and food. ate here this year, yesterday, and again wonderful food. service by jesse was outstanding! hope to get back another time before we leave the island. hope we can again have jesse as our waitress. a very enjoyable dinner! if youlovefood and great service, you must go!

great seafood meal. the menu at this time was heavy on sea food. i very much enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food.. don't forget to order dessert. price for a meal is $20 +, but treat yourself, it was worth it. holly our waitress was great, a lovely blue eyed brunette who gave great service and was a delight ; and a good sport. i'd go back in a minute. one of my favorite eateries on the island.

great food with great service!!!!! our first time...obviously we loved it.

will be back!!!. my fiance and i had dinner there this past saturday night. it was fantastic!!! this place was recommended by a person i work with, could not be happier. i am sure we will become regulars to this establishment. got a chance to meet one of the owners gretchen and she was welcoming and very friendly. my fiance had the crab stuffed lobster tail and i had the horseradish encrusted salmon, both were terrific. the crab cakes for the app were delicious.lovethe decor and feel of the dining room. hats off to the owners they have created a gem!!!

years ago fell inlovewith the incrediblely yummy food at a small place on captiva, the sunshine cafe. went back one year and the food just wasn't good...heard they sold..sad because of the outstanding gumbo and equally incredible apple crisp!

so now 20 years later...order gumbo and apple crisp at traders..bingo the taste is reawakened from long ago...cef is the chef from long ago!!
thrilled and even better...don't miss it!!

wish i could justify a daily trip while here on sanibel...go!

our favorite place for dinner on sanibel. localsloveit and tourists are discovering it. great great food! it even has a very nice island style shop attached to visit before or after dinner. staff very knowledgable and friendly. a must do for everyone who goes to sanibel. the fish is very fresh which i am picky about.

nice lunch. we stopped by for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the nice atmosphere and interesting menu. i tried the white gazpacho and the tomato/mozzarella salad. both were very good, especially the salad. others had the vegetarian black beans and rice and the salmon. everyone enjoyed their meal, and we wouldloveto try it again for dinner.

where's the "iloveit" button?. this place is awesome! we ate here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. the food is excellent! even the bread and olive oil and herb dip was delicious. i had the best scallops of my life on top by lobster ravioli (that were black and white striped!) with cream sauce. it was sooo good! the next time, i had the prime rib and it was excellent as well.

went there for a turn of the century party and ten years later stillloveit. lively vibe, very friendly and welcoming staff. we arrived at 8:15, seated immediately & found out we were at the most requested table - a two seater in the bar against the window! mahi, crab cakes, key lime pie all great! high end but not crazy!

love it!. we've been to traders numerous times andloveit so much that we decided to have our wedding reception there. the food is always top notch and the service is very attentive. they treated my husband and i like a queen and king and joe, the owner, bent over backwards to fulfill our every wish. there wasn't a single thing i would have changed. the talented chef is very creative and his horseradish salmon is to die for. the atmosphere and decor is superb. don't forget to check out the shop after dinner. there are so many neat treasures there waiting to be discovered!
