a long-time tradition of my close friends had always been a journey to trader vic's. incredible service blended with sinful beverages and fine food had been well worth the considerable investment to do so. the staff used to be the icing on the cake, a virtual all-star assembly that did "the little things" to entertain and assist. this standard, unfortunately, has slipped as of late. the tables seem too close together and staffing has not matched the increase in volume. we've been labored to get the next round ordered anddrinksand food quality is inconsistent. you should never pay that much to spend the evening thinking about what you need.
