what's not to love about this place? if you love korean food, you'd definitely lovetopokkiman! i've been coming here since i was in high school, their food is still delicious. and if you love spicy foods, this is the place for you, especially when you're hangover from your tagay last night 😆 you can also get... i think 10% or 20% discount if you're from usc, just present your usc id.

the only thing i'm not happy with is their service. like everytime i go there. whenever i go to the counter to order something, it would take about 5-10 mins before they entertain. i understand there are many people and they're really busy, but, really? even when i'm the only one in line, it would take them for a while to entertain.

but anyhoo, the place is still great overall.

dakangjung + kimchi + white steamed korean rice, i am perfectly satisfied with it!
i highly recommend this korean diner, authentic and serves the most delicious korean foods and not to mention affordable too.

went totopokkiman for a weekday lunch with my friends and the over all experience was wonderful. but allow me to list down the pro's and con's of the said food place.

pros
1. the place is dainty and the atmosphere could mimic those of the stores we see in a k-drama
2. the severs are very accommodating and nice
3. the "take a picture of your meal and get a free coke" promotion is something to need to take part in
4. the food serving is more than enough. i'm known to consume a lot of food but i couldn't finish my meal so i asked for a to-go pack.
5. service waster is available in the side counters but a fee of 10 pesos is paid if you want your water to be in a plastic jar. the ten peso proceeds would be given to those in need.
6. the price is very affordable. student friendly and very reasonable 👍🏼

cons
1. small space - ventilation could be improved
2. servers need following up esp when the crowd starts to become overwhelming
3. tables take time to be bused
4. you can't afford to stay long during peak hours to give chance to others who want to eat because again the space is small and the demand is quite high.

agaaain, the overall experience was great! we would surely be back again!

topokki man has been my go-to korean place ever since i started masterals in usc. the place is nice, so are the staff and thekorean owner. food serving is good for sharing with friends and they give mint candies to alleviate the spicyness of some foods after eating. must try is the cheese donkatsu, their ramen and of course thetopokki(i like it better with cheese.) they are also very accommodating when you are calling for delivery. a must try place when you're around tc.

this place is cozy and bit pricy but the food was good. theirtopokkiwas spicy but the good kind of spicy. the best thing about this place is that their food is so neatly arranged that adds to its appeal. overall, a great restaurant.

besttopokkiin cebu! place is small and sometimes you have to wait because a lot of people are dining but its worth the wait! all the people i brought there loves their food! dakangjung is a must try!

believe the hype -topokkiman is a place worth dining. they offer affordable food choices but they're filling at the same time. the resto is tiny yet clean, despite of the wave of customers that visit the place. i tried one of their main rice meals and i was satisfied 👍🏻 i hope they branch out in the near future.

besttopokkii’ve ever tasted in my entire life ♥️♥️ glad my friend brought me here and my korean food cravings satisfied me the most. since it’s the originaltopokkii’ve tried, i’m going to taste it with mozzarella next time 😊

this is the besttopokkii've tried by far. the place can get crowded so service can get slow, however i always think its worth the wait. hard to get a seat during lunch and dinner. i always ordertopokkiwith cheese, dakangjun, and fried plate. 😁

i love their food so much. very accessible since it is near usc talamban campus. place is cute and very comfy. their food is very delicious and worth it. must try: cheesetopokkiand their rice meal - korean beef. i love how they have many food choices. owner is very friendly and is very hands on, alsovery active in fb. updates on new additions to the menu can be found easily on facebook.

con: slow service for delivery. you have to wait for an hour until the delivery arrives but when you dine in, it doesn't take 30 minutes.

went to this place this afternoon. i was surprised by the number of people patronizing the place. it's not very spacious but it somehow accommodated around 25 customers. anyway, i ordered thetopokki(130php) with an additional order of mozzarella cheese (50php). i wanted to try their curry and cheese rice... unfortunately, they ran out of curry. nevertheless, i found a spot and waited for my food. the food did not disappoint, the cheese made everything more appealing and savory... if given the chance, i'll be back for more... ^_^

first of all, cantopokkihave another branch nearer to cebu city?? cos i had a good food experience when i went totopokkifor the first time last month.

🔹food - we orderedtopokkiw/ cheese and dakangjjung. i think thetopokkiis good for 2 people cos i wasn't able to finish it. or maybe because it's spicy (i'm not really a fan of spicy food but i'm working on it haha). both dishes are superb, btw. there are still a lot of dishes that i'd like to order here so i'll surely come back next time.

🔹 place - it's actually a small place so if it's dinner time and there are a lot of people, be prepared to wait for a long while. i hope they will open a new branch because when i invite my friends to eat here, they refuse cos it's far and the traffic going to talamban is heavy. too bad they missed out on the experience though.

🔹service - staffs are friendly and service is fast.

overall: really great experience. will surely come back 👍👍

the food tastes really good and the presentation is well done. bring friends when eating at this place since the servings are large for an affordable price. theirtopokkiis the best dish to eat on cold rainy nights. don't forget ordering it.

the ambience is more light and open after the renovation they did. the staff are very busy though since its a small restaurant with lots of customers. make sure to have patience waiting in line for your turn on peak hours.

overall, just perfect!

i have dined a multiple times in this place. i wish they could deliver in a cheaper minimum (current min is 1k). besttopokkiin town and so much more. worth eating here. :-)

if you're looking for a place to satisfy your korean food craving, this is the place to be! they are generous with their servings and the taste won't disappoint. i swear! be sure to dine with an empty and raging stomach.

1.topokkinever fails. one alone can't finish a single serving. be sure to have a toppoki buddy when dining!

2. their donkatsu is huge. as i said, they are generous with their serving. (as seen in photo) it comes with rice, soup, and sides.

3. curry with frieds! my go-to order when i crave fortopokkiman. spicy + savory! it comes with frieds of your choice, i always choose squid and shrimp.

4. dakangjung! this is the best! my friend and i ordered the half-serving expecting to only have 5-7 pcs of bite-sized goodness but we were so wrong! we weren't able to finish the half-serving, what more if we ordered the regular one!


your stomach and wallet will thank you.
