topokki man

went to topokki man for a weekday lunch with my friends and the over all experience was wonderful. but allow me to list down the pro's and con's of the said food place.

pros
1. the place is dainty and the atmosphere could mimic those of the stores we see in a k-drama
2. the severs are very accommodating and nice
3. the "take a picture of your meal and get a free coke" promotion is something to need to take part in
4. the food serving is more than enough. i'm known to consume a lot of food but i couldn't finish my meal so i asked for a to-go pack.
5. service waster is available in the side counters but a fee of 10 pesos is paid if you want your water to be in a plastic jar. the ten peso proceeds would be given to those in need.
6. the price is very affordable. studentfriendlyand very reasonable 👍🏼

cons
1. small space - ventilation could be improved
2. servers need following up esp when the crowd starts to become overwhelming
3. tables take time to be bused
4. you can't afford to stay long during peak hours to give chance to others who want to eat because again the space is small and the demand is quite high.

agaaain, the overall experience was great! we would surely be back again!

authentic and affordable korean foods with 10/10 quality. if you're craving for teokbokki then this is the place to be. even their kimchi is ripe (and so delicious). accommodating andfriendlystaff 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

one of the best korean food here in cebu. small place which is usually packed but the staffs arefriendlyand smiling. i adore how they keep this place clean.

this has to be my favorite korean resto.friendlystaff. thr food prices haven't changed over the years and the food quality is really good.

super sarap. affordable andfriendlystaff. plus near the road and a school. the plave is small but its okay coz they make room for guests! i came here with my fruemds after a heavy duty and it bever dissappointed us! 😁☺

i love their food so much. very accessible since it is near usc talamban campus. place is cute and very comfy. their food is very delicious and worth it. must try: cheese topokki and their rice meal - korean beef. i love how they have many food choices. owner is veryfriendlyand is very hands on, alsovery active in fb. updates on new additions to the menu can be found easily on facebook.

con: slow service for delivery. you have to wait for an hour until the delivery arrives but when you dine in, it doesn't take 30 minutes.

i love this place. it always feels like home! the owner is sofriendlyand the price for the portion sizes are very reasonable. would recommend the toppoki with cheese

my absolute favorite place for topokki. i always end up craving the cheesy spicy rice cakes. first time to try the chicken, it was a bit dry on the inside but it paired well with the topokki. only got the half size but the serving was plenty enough to leave me stuffed. the cheese kimbob i preferred more than the regular on. this place is a must for korean food and its evenfriendlyon the wallet. just be sure to go an hour before you’re starving. its a small space with limited staff and lots of diners, be patient with them. the food will be worth the wait 💯

first of all, can topokki have another branch nearer to cebu city?? cos i had a good food experience when i went to topokki for the first time last month.

🔹food - we ordered topokki w/ cheese and dakangjjung. i think the topokki is good for 2 people cos i wasn't able to finish it. or maybe because it's spicy (i'm not really a fan of spicy food but i'm working on it haha). both dishes are superb, btw. there are still a lot of dishes that i'd like to order here so i'll surely come back next time.

🔹 place - it's actually a small place so if it's dinner time and there are a lot of people, be prepared to wait for a long while. i hope they will open a new branch because when i invite my friends to eat here, they refuse cos it's far and the traffic going to talamban is heavy. too bad they missed out on the experience though.

🔹service - staffs arefriendlyand service is fast.

overall: really great experience. will surely come back 👍👍

rates are studentfriendlyand very affordable for korean food. if you want to have dinner here, i suggest that you come a little bit earlier if you don’t want to wait in line because the place isn’t really big 🙂

this where i tasted one of the most delicious korean dishes. budgetfriendlyfor students craving korean food. their service is okay but could be improved. the owner is reallyfriendlyas well. i recommend their ramen with cheese.

i love topokki man. it's my favorite tambayan during the rest days. i've been to different korean restaurants in cebu, yet this is where i keep on going. the place is comfortable and the food is great. most of all, i love the way their owner greats his customers. he's veryfriendlyand accommodating. i recall one incident when a lot of people are waiting outside, he offered them iced tea for refreshments. it's a very cute gesture which i think is very important for customers like me.

if there is room for improvement, maybe they should consider expanding because people are starting to crowd a lot in their place and i couldn't blame them for coming back everyday. 😊

if you're from usc-tc you know where and what is topokki man. owned by this very humble korean man, topokki man is your modern comfort food korean restaurant. the humongous food serving paired with a very affordable price there would really make you question how do they do it. try ordering the toppoki man and any of the ramen. budgetfriendlyand big portions.

best rice cake in my opinion. the cheese topping is generously served. price wise, student friendly. the katsu chicken curry (i dont know if this is the correct name) was also good although not studentfriendlyat 200php per serve. =d
