my wife walked through the entrance door ahead of me. when i walked in, i saw the maître d standing erect, shoulders back, square on to and about a half metre from my wife. his body language was that of a night club bouncer saying, you won't get past me. we didn't get a hello, welcome or even a smile. we should have left then but, no.
we were led to our table by a very pleasant waitress. this is the only positive experience of this restaurant.
i ordered tuna sashimi as a starter and we both ordered sukiyaki, seafood for me and beef for my wife.
after about ten minutes, the waitress camebackand said they had no tuna! this was 6 pm on a saturday and no tuna? later, the waitress returned and informed us that we couldn't have two sukiyakis which were different, we both had to have seafood, or beef but not one of each. that is the point at which we left. we paid for our drinks and left. we got no apology from anyone.
so, if you want theatricals from the teppanyaki and don't give a shit about service or choice, yes come here, otherwise stay away.
