cool place to hang out with friends! very nice ambience. we ordered chickensteakwith bbq sauce , lichi chiller, black current chiller , chocolate sundae and chocolate smoothie! i really liked thesteakand the sundae but the chocolate smoothie was too much sweet. a bit expensive. but cool to hang out. its quite crowded during weekends!

the vegsteakis yum. pasta is ok. each time the quality of belgium chocolate keeps coming down.

chickensteakwith bbq was not good in taste. i am a regular customer of tonico cafe. but am not happy with the bbqsteakat all which i had

we were 6 people and we had ordered sandwiches, a burger and a portion of peri peri chickensteakalong with beverages. the food was not upto the mark. the hot chocolate we ordered was nothing but milk and hershey's. disappointing to say the least.

heard about this cafe alot but couldn't go until recently. even though the waiting time was long the food was delicious. thesteakwas tender and juicy. but what i loved dthe most was crusted fried chicken. it was on the special menu and was really awesome.

heard a lot of good reviews about tonico cafe, so we decided to give it a try. ordered the blood orange drink, cafe mocha, carolina cheeseburger and the mushroom omelette. both our drinks were nice. the carolina cheeseburger was really good, and i loved the fact that it had a fried egg inside. but the mushroom omelette was bad. it had too much masala inside and had more onions and tomatoes than the mushroom, which ruined what could have been a simple and nice dish.

we also ordered the beef steak, and after waiting for what felt like a long time, we realised that the waiter had not written that order down, but according to him we apparently didn't ask for the beefsteak(which we had because the both of us heard our friend order it). anyway we didn't try the beefsteakbecause we had already spent a long time waiting for an order we thought we placed, but apparently was actually never placed. so, we were not very happy with the service we got.

but i believe the cafe has some good food though it's on the expensive side, a very lovely ambiance, and proper parking space.
i wish my first experience here was better than what we had to get.

have been to/ordered from tonico many times. awesome place that also has outdoor seating (which is good when the weather is pleasing). it is definitely one of the best place to hangout in kakkanad.

they make good shakes and steaks. i loved their chickensteakin pesto sauce. hope they still have it in their menu, as it had been a while since i went there. other than chicken and beef, they even had fishsteakonce. the fish was fresh, perfectly cooked and the sauce over it complemented the fish 😍

however, their burgers were not as great as the other dishes (speaking from my experience). the veg burger we ordered was dry, and the tandoori chicken burger(not 100% sure about the name) was so soggy- water was dripping from the chicken piece. the mongolian beef pasta was piquant, but some of the beef pieces were quite chewy.

food is good...but do expect delay.. had mangolean beef pasta and chickensteakin bbq sauce... mangolean pasta was literally fingerlicking...

have everything over here and it’ll be tasty ,no worries about that.
had the caramel shake,oreo shake,beefsteakand chicken penne pasta and what stood out from all these dishes were the penne pasta ;it’s this white creamy pasta which literally drools in your mouth. caramel shake also tops the list for those sugar lovers.steakwas not bad and you can have it in your way.

a very youth friendly place. have been here a lot. ambience is just like any other casual cafe's. pretty good i have to say. i had the chickensteakhere. was a bit too spicy, but the mashed potatoes are worth a mention, so if you are a fan of mashed potatoes, make sure you choose that between fries.the tandoori chicken burger was delicious. the carolina burger also wasn't bad. i've also tried the sizzling brownies and chocolate shake.
the sizzling brownies and the chocolate brownies are exemplary! they definitely will delight you. the chocolate shake is good... but it was a bit too cold.
so overall, i'll give it a 4.0

good option to grab a perfect chickensteak:) a fan of it. good choices of food and drinks. cold coffee comes under my favorite list. trying out veg snacks for evening is a best option here.

not a big fan of this place but have visited few times with friends.the beefsteakwas was very dissapointing .there was a strong overdose of pepper and beef could have been more tender.

when someone asks me about a cafe just relax and spend sometime the first one that comes to my kind is tonico cafe.i think the ambience does not require much explanation because mist of you know how good it is .
but its about food isnt it? ive gone to this joint so many times but im only writing about a single dish here.

it's one of the best steaks available in kochi.the chickensteakwith barbeque sauce is also really good but this one's certainly the winner for me!

i am a regular visitor at the cafe and was more than satisfied with their service. but today, it was really disappointing. i waited for almost half an hour for someone to take an order (even though the place was half empty) only to realise that they don't servesteakin the afternoon. walked out of there as i dint want to order anything else coz i was really pissed off

there is only an option to edit review, but too bad there is none to add a new one. i used to like this place only for their service as the food was not at any point, the greatest. after the previous experience a couple of months back, i decided to give this place a second chance as i was not in the mood for a heavy lunch. i ordered a regular chicken and ham sandwich and a mocha. i got the mocha in like 10 minutes as i had requested them to bring it before they bring the food. i waited for the sandwich as my drink was half way done and then decided to slow down. waited for half an hour and still there was no sign of my sandwich. i really thought maybe they were waiting me to finish my mocha, but even 10 minutes after i finished there was no sign of the sandwich or the person who took my order. to my shock when i checked with them, they had not even started preparing my sandwich. i was not angry, but disappointed and frustrated. had to return back to office after wasting my lunch break drinking a mocha that did not even deserve a mention.

although it doesn't matter much, i am never returning to this place again. there are more than enough cafes open that serve much better food.
