on a rainy sunday night, this was the perfectplaceto have a late night bite. simple menu, including all day breakfast and root beer floats. old fashion diner decor, with friendly staff.

tommy's is the perfectplacefor any occasion. your wife is having a baby, you go to tommy's first for a celebratory drink. you got that new job you always wanted, you go to tommy's to celebrate. you ask your girlfriend where she wants to eat and she says: "i don't know". you take her to tommy's and she'll never stop talking about how awesome the food and service was. in other words, if you're looking for aplaceto enjoy some food and drinks in a family friendly environment then tommy's should be your #1 option because you'll always find excellent food, beverages and friends in there!

busy or empty(which i have never seen service is fast food is good andplaceis clean. i worked in suffolk and would drive over ever friday for breakfast love it!!!!!!!

tommy's is hands down one of my favorite spots in kingston. the food is phenomenal, i've never had bad service and you're always greeted with a smile. it's a greatplacefor food,conversation or even if you're just looking to have a good time!

goodplacefor breakfast or diner/comfort food. i usually get the classic for breakfast and it almost always just hits the spot. i've had other things on the menu when i am feeling more adventurous, such as burgers, chili fries etc... there is really nothing to complain about here. the atmosphere is good, i like the posters they have up, and i like the cartoons they play on tv.

tommy's. one of my favorite new spots in town! i just discovered this new restaurant downtown that is open 24 hours on the weekend and i love it! we dined on the patio that is in the main street downtown kingston and has the best experience. sun all day long. the nicest servers and the most fun menu. will go again many times as everything was wonderful! everyone should visit here. many options on to menu from all day breakfast, many in house made burgers, specialty sandwiches , vegetarian options and more. a really cool locally ownedplaceto visit!

horrible!. absolutely terrible service by a rude staff especially the owner. my friends and i will never set foot in theplaceagain.

bestplaceto eat in kingston!. i've been going to tommy's several times a week since my second year at queens and have never been disappointed! best drink and food deals in town for sure! never miss $2 taco tuesday or perogy thursdays! servers there are all awesome and super friendly, not to mention hot! one of my favourite parts about tommy's, caesars come with bacon in them!

friendly service and yummy home cooked food. the best homemade biscuits i've ever eaten ever! love love thisplaceand would eat there again for sure!!!

another great breakfast!. stopped by tommy's this morning for breakfast. it was delicious. i had fried eggs over medium, they were cooked to perfection. smoked sausage that was juicy and tasty, home fries that were dynamite, and of course their sugnature buttered toast. everything was hot and tasty. great coffee, rich and hot. the service as always was down home and fantastic. lots of smiles and blazing fast on coffee warm ups. i dont care if they take cash only i will walk 10 miles to find an atm just to eat there. but thats not neccesary as they have an atm at the entrance. here i sthe deal. if you havent eaten at tommy's yes, then your missing out on a true hampton roads icon. go eat smile! great job tommy's!

an institution. tommy's is a great all american greasy spoon, turn and burn diner. they do a great job, and aren't tryingt o be anyone else but what they are. you gotta respect that. awesome american breakfast and lunch fair. i have eaten there so many times i've lost count and have never been disatisfied with my meal. omelettes, blt's, burgers, chicken fried steak, etc etc. american down home country goodness. so if your dieting ro trying to eat healthy, you may wanna skip tommy's this week. but if your looking for a greatplaceto have a warm breakfast or lunch with a froend or a colleague, this the perfect little place. be warned they do not take credit cards or check cards, this i think is a mistake in this day and age. i think they made this decision long ago when transactions fees were alot higher, they should revisit that. i think they would see a pleasant response from thier clientel. but again its not like they are hurting for business. tommy's is packed everyday from opening to closing. thats because their service and food is awesome! nice job tommy's

kingston is a cute little town, but honestly there's not much to do, especially on a snowy weekend. mona and i recently went to visit alexa for a weekend and, in the absen ce of activities, w e ended up eating all the time! i swear, t here was not a moment during those two days that i felt hungry! we started the day at tommy's, a 24-h our retro-style diner for a delicious greasy breakfast ! every university is in need of aplacelike this! mona's g uinness pulled pork omelette ($8.99) , served with toast and home fries. alexa's breakfast quesadilla ( $7.99)

it's an office thing. go ahead and herd 10 office cats to have breakfast together, but tommy's has always fit that bill. a great localplacethat caters to everyone's morning palate with gut-busting perfection. a trip to tommy's means no one will have to do lunch later in the day. the staff works their magic when a large group comes through the door and all folks are served rather quickly. the food is everything a heavy breakfast should be; large portions, flavorful, quick, and unlimited coffee to compliment. well recommended.

great 24hrs dinner. the fish & chip was excellent and so was the beer special. i was alone in kingston and it was a greatplaceto go late at night to read my book - it was a bit noisy but i tuned it out. my waitress was very friendly and helpful. the decor was nice as well - i will go back.

caution: the sweet potatoes are and extra 2$ - just letting you know so you won't be surprised at the cash!

could eat it every day!. i first walked into tommys when they were just closing it up after a busy night of hungry customers. the owner and staff were there to greet me and give me the bad news , however they did offer me to stay and enjoy a beverage until they were finished up cleaning, i ordered an apple juice and enjoyed what was on tv as well as the other customer next to me conversation.

the restaurant was all very new back then and i was impressed at what the owner :tommy: had done to the place.

ever since then ive been a returning customer, the staff are very nice and get to know your name and you like theyve knkown you for years, food is respectiblly priced and the portions leave you with no room to spare and food still on the plate.

at one point and time i reurned for their all day break fast for months in a row, when you can get it everyday , why not?

great breakfast. good old breakfast to cure a hangover!! sometimes there can be a lengthy wait, but that should let you know that it is worth waiting for. thisplaceis classic and is one of the best breakfast places on mercury blvd.
