awesome!!. a great spot for breakfast on the peninsula. it's fast, under $10 for two, and has great food.

on a rainy sunday night, this was the perfect place to have a late night bite. simple menu, including all day breakfast and root beer floats. old fashion diner decor, with friendly staff.

the owner brags about his google review rating, but attempts to bully and name call people who leave negative reviews in to removing them. his facebook page shows an almost a perfect 5, because he simply removes the negative reviews. this is a one star restaurant with a zero as an owner.

tommy's is the perfect place for any occasion. your wife is having a baby, you go to tommy's first for a celebratory drink. you got that new job you always wanted, you go to tommy's to celebrate. you ask your girlfriend where she wants to eat and she says: "i don't know". you take her to tommy's and she'll never stop talking about how awesome the food and service was. in other words, if you're looking for a place to enjoy some food and drinks in a family friendly environment then tommy's should be your #1 option because you'll always find excellent food, beverages and friends in there!

the milkshake is good here! the omelette were good but pretty greasy...the service is either a hit or a miss.

the patio is nice to sit at but since princess street is so busy, it might be a bit dusty whenever the cars are zipping by

so good! so many delicious options to choose from! seems like a "hole-in-the-wall" type place, but the food and service was great! get the breakfast poutine, it might sound a bit strange, but oh, so good!

went here for dinner as it's a diner we had never tried before in kingston. interior is kitschy with retro signs and booths that fit with the diner aesthetic. sadly the quality of the food and service leaves much to be desired. i had the big tom burger with fries and my wife had the stacked club sandwich with onion rings. the burger was okay, nothing special about it but the fries were good. the sandwich was dry and the onion rings were over battered and mushy. while our server checked in on us during our meal, we waited roughly 20 minutes after eating for the plates to be cleared (it wasn't terribly busy in the place). the food was overpriced as well, we paid $16 for the dry club sandwich and left feeling under appreciated as customers and unsatisfied.

we got there right at the breakfast/brunch rush hour, line was out the door, and we were still seated fairly quickly. pancakes were huge and delicious, not dry at all, sweet and satisfying flavor. my ham omelette was hearty and very tasty. hash browns were great. corned beef hash popped with flavor, and the sweet potato puffs were a nice touch and had a brown sugar glaze. i will make this a regular brunch visit!!

busy or empty(which i have never seen service is fast food is good and place is clean. i worked in suffolk and would drive over ever friday for breakfast love it!!!!!!!

not sure who wrote the reviews but our meal was one of the worst we ever had. the food on my plate had been sitting around for hours. the sausages were rock hard and burnt. i don't recommend having breakfast a this place.

the guys at work have been telling me to try tommy's for over a year now and i finally got around to it. i wish i had sooner.
wonderful experience. i had a warm welcome as soon as i came through the door. i was seated quickly despite the restaurant being busy. then, i don't think five minutes passed in between the waitress taking my order and a hot belgian waffle being placed in front of me. it was fluffy and delicious. i ordered the virginia ham to go with it and it was a decently sized slab of pork.
they only accept cash as payment, but there's an atm right by the main entrance.
i highly recommend tommy's. it's the epitome of southern hospitality and warmth.

tommy's is hands down one of my favorite spots in kingston. the food is phenomenal, i've never had bad service and you're always greeted with a smile. it's a great place for food,conversation or even if you're just looking to have a good time!

good place for breakfast or diner/comfort food. i usually get the classic for breakfast and it almost always just hits the spot. i've had other things on the menu when i am feeling more adventurous, such as burgers, chili fries etc... there is really nothing to complain about here. the atmosphere is good, i like the posters they have up, and i like the cartoons they play on tv.
