tomatoes a rotten. i have heard so many people praise this place. finally decided to try it and what a disappointment. the first person at the counter was very pleasant and offered my family menus since it was our first time. then another lady rudely blurts out "what are we doing, are we eating in or what's going on" as we all have menus right in front of us. we then order and within 10 minutes our food is ready....that part great. we got back to livonia and discovered they gave us a large pizza completely burnt around the edges and most of the pepperoni burnt as well. if your ordering garlicbreadbeware.....you'll need a mouth full of mints the rest of the night. i thought $27 for a pepperoni pizza and some garlicbreadwas a little steep but given the "praise" it must be worth it....wrong. so disgusted i recommended his to my family. burnt and rude doesn't get you return customers!

this is my favorite place to eat lunch in the area. i love their flatbreadpizzas that they make in their giant brick oven. some of there pizzas are the traditional ones you'd expect, like pepperoni or sausage. but others like their garlic, cheese, and basil pizzas are to die for. they also have a nutella pizza pie, and a great salad bar. they include all of this for all you can eat for less than $11 currently. they also have beer and wine. the soft drinks (which are limited to only a few choices) are also included in the buffet. unfortunately the buffet is only during the week for lunch.

i wish there was a "i like it, but" button because the cheesebreadwas decent, and the service was good but humorless. the pizza was burned on the edges on two of the pies, and the pizza was runny as a result of the onions. i love the halstead apizza and would recommend it to anyone who loves thin crust pizza with quality ingredients. 14 mile lacks halstead's passion for great pies!
