a regular. i enjoy ninfa's and dine here regularly. it has changed some over the years, but the menu is the same i believe and service is always good. all of the other tex/mex & mexican restaurants in town seem to taste similar and not worth the price in my opinion. ninfa's is the opposite, moderately priced quality food that has it's own flavor.

not the same. ninfa's used to be my favorite place for tex-mex in baton rouge. you still cannot beat their tortillas--they make them in-house and they are amazing. i order the beef quesos every time and they are great. the margaritas, especially the ninfatini, are good; however, for the most part, ninfa's is overpriced and kind of dirty. sometimes it smells weird in there. i definitely feel like their heyday was the late '90s/early 2000s and they are just kind of past their prime.

wonderful server. table #52 our server jamal was just wonderful! he was extremely polite and made for a great ninfa's experience! would absolutely recommend him and would request him on our next visit! also the caesar dressing is delicious

we were seated quickly and the servers were friendly, but service was kinda slow. our waitress couldn’t pronounce and/or remember the names of things... so she may have just been newer. wish they indicated the kids meal coming with defries beans. we ordered the bean& cheese burrito for our son, and his plate was basically a ton of defries beans. otherwise the food was delicious. portion sizes are huge. and they were able to sort of customize my husbands burrito which made him very happy. we’ll definitely go back again

food was okay but overpriced. not as good as it was when it was ninfas before. service was terrible. we had to go get the waitress to come take our order after waiting about 20 minutes. we were a large group of 18-20 and were seated in a private room of off the entrance. the waitress appeared to be playing hostess as well and had no additional help for a group this large. likely will not go back anytime soon.

used to be known by another name
but mexican style is still their game

if you go home hungry you're to blame
while the margs here have a claim to fame

chips and salsa all the same?
not really true this salsa's been flamed

menu of eats is why you came
or maybe to spy that dude corey haim

great place for you with food so untamed
might make an impression on your new dame.

some mexican joints in br are pricey and lame
this one is pricey but the food is insane.

we went for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. the restaurant was medium busy and we barely made it out in an hour.
the presentation of my shrimp tacos was very nice. they were very tasty and the green rice was great.
my friends taco soup was interesting to say the least but ok
the salad was 95% iceberg lettuce.

had a hair in the bottom of my chip basket. told the waiter about it and they just asked if we wanted fresh chips. the food that didn't have a hair in it was okay. pretty basic and mostly overpriced. if the staff was better i might consider going back, but the only thing i really liked about the whole experience was the free salsa.

love love love it! the best salsas in baton rouge! also, the absolute best tortillas! a little pricey, so we like to save a visit here for a special occasion. we brought a group of 13 here recently (made a reservation ahead of time). we had an awesome experience and a really great waiter! can't wait to visit again!

subpar food that is grossly overpriced. my fiancé and i decided to stop by for lunch and we ordered a quesadilla, mixed chicken and beef fajita, and a side of queso and it ended up being $45. the waitstaff were fine but overall a very expensive and underwhelming experience. will not be back.

bad seafood!. i ordered two shrimp enchiladas and almost threw up. the shrimp was stiff and fishy. disgusting. the food is poor quality. never again. i could've gotten sick.

eeeew.. i had always been loyal to superior, but lots of people in br are ninfamaniacs, and i attended an event there at the request of some friends who are loyal patrons. hands down, the soft tortillas were the best in baton rouge. everything else was disgusting. the place smelled like a dirty, sour mop bucket, and everything was just...well...dirty. the ambiance left much to be desired, and the place is wayyy overdue for a remodel. i won't be back.
